Here it is - nothing to hear, unfortunately, since my stupid digicam doesn't record sounds. (It was hard enough to find the tutu!) Therefore I scribbled "I'm a little teapot" on the front of a piece of paper (with the lyrics of the teapot song on its back, to make shure I didn't forget or change anything). But sing it I did, and it sounded horrible.

Soda and Max, this is gorgeously ridiculous. What a pity you had no video recorder, Max - I would have liked to hear you sing!

I asked James if he need 27 players total or 27 "couples".

Quote:

27 total. Including those who have already joined.

I'm pretty certain that's 27 individuals... or 14 pairs.

And how many are there thus far? In other words, how many are still needed? That we know of...

I finished and submitted my mission today; you can check out the photos here.

My mission was:

"Plant Transplant--This task is about giving new life to objects that would otherwise no longer be seen or used and disrupting the routine and environments of both the task partner and the target.

1. Create a flower out of a couple of supplies found in your house, items that are old and tucked away somewhere to be forgotten.

2. Write a secret onto a small piece of paper and attach it somewhere on the flower, like the stem.

3. Take the flower to a house out of your way and plant it in the middle of a bed of flowers where it will be seen, a symbol of permanence among the transient."

I didn't end up putting mine in a bed of flowers, because everything is in bloom right now so it wouldn't have stood out! Instead, I put it under a lone tree in the middle of a construction site (representing impermanence). I hope that one of the construction workers will find it and enjoy it; it's a bit of color in the midst of a lot of dust and rubble. I also included a little bee friend that I made to keep the flower company until that happens.

Update

To all those who have not contacted TheO and are wondering what progress has been made towards the 27 James needs, he sent out the following update:
James wrote:
All Theo Uninitiates,

I would like to give you a brief update

Towards the goal of 27 new Uninitiates, I currently have:

4 People who have provided proof of uninitiation and who have taken The Oath
6 who have provided proof of uninitiation but who have not yet taken the oath
5 who have had uninitiation missions approved but who have not yet submitted proof of completion
3 who have not yet submitted complete proposals, or who have not yet had their proposals approved and need to re-submit.

If you are not sure where you stand, please email me and I will inform you.

Currently I have 18 people at various stages of the path. I need at least 4 more uninitiaion teams, and I need those who have volunteered so far to step up and complete their missions. We MUST move forward quickly so that I can gain more access at The Opposition. The Olympics fast approach, we cannot stagnate.

Re: Theo's uninitiation mission
Re: Update

Something to consider:

It is far, far easier to desynchronize than to synchronize. Hell, every time you take any action or make any decision you create a new parallel universe. It takes considerably more intentional effort to synchronize two worlds together. (No doubt this is why the number of worlds tends to increase as time passes, in the absence of active synchronization efforts.)

Now, forget about that -- pretend that it is no more difficult to synchronize than it is to desynchronize -- and imagine four universes. Imagine that they are balanced: in two of them, people are working to synchronize; in the other two, people are working to desynchronize. All of them succeed. The two synchronized worlds collapse peacefully into one; each of the other worlds splits into two. The net result: five worlds where there once were four. More stress on the multiverse.

So. We are trying to make 27 city-sized labyrinths, to synchronize worlds. Which is difficult.

And TheO is trying to enlist 27 new members, by having them all perform desychronization missions. Which is much easier.

And even if everyone on both sides succeeds entirely, we still lose.

My point: I am not so certain that it is a good idea for us to continue helping TheO, even if our motives are pure and we are only doing it "temporarily" to gain needed information. The harm we do to the multiverse is not so easily undone.

Brilliant words Shad0, I was trying to make some relation like yours !
But I think that they aren't doing all this mystery for nothing,
and I'm still paying to see what really have behind TheO.

p.s: sry if the English is not 100% understandable.

I thought personal labyrinths helped to synchronize the worlds too. We can also tell out counteragonothetai counterparts things we WOULD normally do away from Theo's prying eyes, which could then be submitted by our counterpart to James as a desynch ritual. Thus the "desynch" would actually synch us.

Just a thought.

Like James said in the CHAT with mr.judkins :
"
me: Is there anything we can do to negate the effects of our own desynchronizing acts to join them?

Eli: I believe that a personal labyrinth to transmit your intention to complete the mission could have the effect of synchronizing other parallel selves to complete it.

Perhaps unconsciously they will be inspired to do something completely out of the ordinary, seemingly random -- not knowing it is the imperative of a parallel self.
"

We can be in the both sides just for a moment and when we know for sure the best thing to do, we do.
