well yeah...that happends when youre one of the most busy producer, writer and director in hollywood right now, but i hope that the 2nd installment will be in 2009 (despite some hefty compition next year)
examples: Star Trek (may), Transformers 2 (june) and the spirit (whenever 2009)

You say competition as if paramount would choose to pit its own movies against each other. Logic is kthx.

J.J. Abrams is going to have a lot of competition if he's going to make a sequel, what with Cloverfield 2 coming out and everything.

Sorry, I had to bump this thread after some asshole thought it was funny to bump a whole bunch of old threads. Necro-bumping FTF (for the fail).
Anyways, I am aware of the projects that both JJ Abrams and Matt Reeves are working on right now. I heard they're still talking with Paramount though about the possibilities on how to work with the sequel. So honestly, it may be a while until we see a teaser trailer or some new information. Maybe this coming fall after summer is over.
It'd be nice though, if they released a teaser trailer in the summer like they did for Cloverfield when everyone went out to see Transformers (a movie, which I believe actually sucks due to Shia Labeouf's horrible acting performance).

Congrats on being the 0.0001% of the people who were paying attention to shia's performance rather than staring at megan fox and/or starscream, both of which gave me a massive erection.

LOL... if Shia isnt in Transformers 2 I'm not going to see it. Just like if Tobey Maguire isnt in Spiderman 4 like the rumors say, me and the rest of the world arent going to like it.

Ah yes, um Megan Fox. I think she looks like a total bitch. Though, I wouldn't mind plowing that. Haha...
...anyways, let's try and get back on topic.

You brought it off topic. Reep the consequences.

Stop pulling my leg. Next you'll be trying to convince me that Cloverfield has monsters and some guy named "Rob" in it...

He bumped all of the old threads to the top so people would stop going into the death threads and argue with each other. Even though those threads have caused alot of grief, they still haven't been removed and put in the OT section, so bumping any other threads to the top so that people dont automatically run to those stupid ass threads was a pretty smart move - Not being an asshole.

Actually no K1Ng5p4d3, that wasn't why that was done. If you wish to discuss further, PM me.
