I'm not even sure if I got it right, mine has only one way in and the same way out, unlike the other Omphalabyrinths in which it goes in then out without going through the same path twice.

Yep, I got a reply. I posted it in the thread labelled "Omphalabyrinth Design" to keep the answer general (since this thread here is for a specific city labyrinth). The answer, though: you can run the city labyrinths in either direction (though Eli personally prefers outside-in).

Thanks, I hope running the Omphalabyrinth would not actually send me to a different multiverse world Laughing anyways Kai finally answered back:

This looks great to me! I've marked you down as the Team Captain for Manila. If this is the one you and your team want to go with, figure out what it's Omph strength is going to be and submit it to Eli Hunt. Once he approves it, you'll be good to go!

In the mean time, send me your address and I'll get a Trackstick on its way to you along with some other goodies!
And by goodies I hope it would be a sassy Team Agonothetai t-shirt and a bunch of Mable Bacon Cupcakes to replace all the calories I'll burn Very Happy

I'm making quick edits before I send it to Eli, hows your recruitment coming along? So far, it's me and my sis for a team, luckily I have found an online community living in Bonifacio Global City via skyscrapercity.com . I was able to find location photos and a more detailed map to help me out on some areas I'm not familiar with(whenever I go there, I'm usually just within the vicinity of the Mall Smile).
I have posted a linky to bruce's wiki just incase they're interested Wink

I did a trackstick test this morning:

Trackstick File
Google Earth Timeline File
It took me about an hour to finish, it could have saved a couple of minutes if I didn't have to stop a little for rest and double checking my really ugly map if I'm on the right street (I'm only human!)

Doing it by foot gives you more control on navigating the area.

Going under *big trees and near a building really affected the signal.

You must really map out the area, imagine taking a wrong turn and you have to start all over again.

I'm gonna do a final trackstick test tomorrow (depending on the weather and if I wake up early) or this coming weekend.

*edit

Big trees mess up the signal too? yikes! But your test has drawn a pretty clear line from what I can see. It looks like you scaled the side of that tall building in the left. Did you walk by it on the shaded side?

The trackstick records a location every 5 secs. If you take a look at the Google Earth Pushpin File, you'll see that there are places where it didn't record very well.

I got a red beep here besides the Market! Market! mall and had to go on the other side of the street to get a stronger signal.

Is this one you're referring to, Jasper? I was expecting that there will be no signal at this part because The One Mckinley Place Building is far more taller that of the mall and I was walking on the part where the building is casting a shadow, yet I didn't lose the signal.

At the starting point, the big trees are preventing me to get a proper signal to start-off so I had to get a really clear view of the sky.

So to sum it up, doing a test on the actual location would give you an idea what to expect.

bryan - you are doing an amazing job recording all of this!

Thank you for sharing - I cannot participate (massive time constraints) but with all the work you and others are doing, I feel I can still experience the amazing effects.

Very Happy
Eli replied back and said yes (I was asking for his approval). He liked the two proposals and preferred the latter but they're doing repairs to some of those streets atm and it's not passable. So here comes proposal number 3 and this will be the final one.
It's about 3532 feet wide.

(4*5.81)/6 = 3.87 It's not much but I guess it'll help add up to the total.

Can someone help me check if I got the Omph strength calculation right?
