It's just totally unoriginal so I don't find the appeal and don't see the point. It seems like a parody of itself, sadly.

So nobody notices the video that 'announced' the handover of the domain was uploaded March 14th, yet the 'big news' that there would be an official game only showed up on various other sites on April 1st? Sounds like an April Fool's joke to me. I also notice that the domain didn't change hands until 4/2. If Paramount got involved at all, I suspect it was purely brand protection. Consider the fact that the URL still just redirects to the movie site. That could easily be done without Paramount even threatening anything, just to try to lend validity to his claim.

Would anyone be surprised if April 1st rolls around next year and this guy tries to say "April Fools" to all who've been following it? I really hope that's the case, because the way it looks now this is a joke in any case.

this is not an april fools joke! look at the cgi rendering movie on the website which will show you how the creature is being made which will show you that the creatre looks alot different then those sketches!
and the creature is once again as i have said before! as original as a gorilla and a whale having a baby which guess what would look exactly like clover! so this thing looks like a person and a spider at least it was trying something out that no one else has which would be making a giant bug that doesnt look exactly like the smaller version!And hyes im lookin at you toho! so I think that both clover and grayshot look coool.
also euchre paramount would not be able to take legal action unless they were making money off of the game but however they could ask him if they could have the domain so he ould continue work on the game after he got a new url but instead he tried to create his new game! plus if it were an april fools joke he would be getting his pants sued off by the people who have already bought half-life 2 so they could play the game!

actually im not implying thi at all just saying that no body really even botherted to check and see the new cgi nodelthat reveals that it not like a spider completely i mean since when have spiders had four fingers/claws and ings and since when have they been able to sprout a torso like a mans,because last i checked spiders look nothing like that.PWN!

The sketchers and concept artists for the game aren't that great, but the guy actually making the monster, it doesn't look too bad IMO like a giant crab spider thing.

i mentioned in an earlier post that clover looks like a gorilla with whale part and breathing saacs on his head but i wasnt trying to offfend the cgreat clover i was tring to prove they both have their own originalities and un-originalities as i wasnt trying to pwn neville page as i look up to him as an art idol. and yes i ma older than 11 and i know im screwed due to gas illegal imigrants and the price of gas because chinas buying it all. so wait did i mention gas?
