[Training] Leeds, UK Weds 18 June

Hello,

I'm going to be running a training labyrinth in Leeds, W. Yorks, UK at GeekUp Leeds on the Weds 18th June. Anyone interested?

Time can be before the talks & beer (5-6pm) or after the talks (7-8pm).

I'm going to be doing a 20:20 talk about Alternate Reality Games at the same event. And there will be cake! Brownie

Interview good.
Uk bad.

Well it's only bad because of the distance... it prevents me from having said cake...

some pics:
We had around 10 people, No Theo seen, however two characters approached us, asking "can we kick the guy when he's blindfolded then?" We appeased these agents with tobacco and paper and they left to generate clouds of smoke at the other end of the park.

(guy on right with cap = enemy agent)

We were a bit too British to hold hands, but we Hummed For England!

more, better pictures to come.

http://qik.com/video/106602 video of the first try, with everyone trying to understand the game Smile - that lasted about 6 minutes! additional runs were quicker

Heh...I love how in a lot of early training videos there are these shrieks of laughter Smile. It makes me think of the "joy of the labyrinth" mentioned in this article I came across early on in this game when I was trying to do game-related research.
