 		Mauritz could also be Markus' real name. Is it okay if we ask James about Markus' unitiation partner? Every bit of info helps, I guess.

Other possibilities occur to me:

1) Ariadne (Alex) could be misinterpreting her vision. Perhaps she saw into an alternate version of reality in which things branched a little differently: Markus decided not to go, and Mauritz took his place.

2) Markus is "faking" his return to TheO, and Ariadne is deliberately planting disinformation where TheO can see it to support him. Has anyone asked her about this privately?

 		What if Markus has been with Theo from the beginning? Maybe they got the true Thumos and have him captured somewhere, and Markus has just been pretending to be the Thumos. That way, He could have given us the true Thumos bio stats for the omphaputer. Also, his weird behaviour would have been premeditated, so he was just making the rest of the team unsure of their possibilities...

Maybe that's what Eli thinks. But Eli would have Markus pretending to be the Thumos before coming here, taking his place. so this Maruitz character may be held somewhere, but not in our world: he never came here. I asked him about the omphaputer accepting the biostats and agonocode.

Now this is a really difficult question: Would the six have been able to travel to our world in the first place without having a proper Thumos among them?!

I don't think so, do you? The multiverse is a big tree so, there would be a multitude of reasons for a Markus to replace a Mauritz. Some cases would be sinister reasons, some not. But whatever reason, the person who travels in that spot would be a Thumos, eh?

 		Flounder I'm double posting here. I was thinking about Kentara saying Markus has been with TheO from the start and needn't have done an uniniation mission. Markus was not remembering his TheO alegience soon enough for their purposes. . . supposedly. . . and then I was thinking about Markus's "discovery" of the Hercules and Omphale myth painting in Cardiff. I started to wonder if he remembered all along and that discovery was a clue to let us know. So I checked to see if self-sacrifice was really any part of the ancient Hercules myth or if that was just in the Disney movie version of the story. And I'm still not sure about that, so I decided not to worry about it because it was such a long ago and random piece of this Lost Ring story . . . until I remembered that Markus is quoting a Disney movie in his uninitiation video. Sorry if this is just another false connection that doesn't mean anything.
