It's okay, you can swear here. Wink That's just SA's language filter for nongoons, ignore it.

As far as I know Steven's a pretty regular guy - didn't Robert say something about him crying when he asked Robert to leave Mary alone?

Yeah I guess the only thing I don't get about the whole Steven thing is what he did to get Robert to attack him bad enough to where his mom would want to press charges?

Although I guess Robert is not the most stable individual and really wouldn't need much provocation.

Oh well, I guess now I'm just grasping at straws until more info comes out. I think Robert is done with me, the last thing I asked him was how long ago it was that Ben died - I'm not too hopeful for a response, although even a "FUCK YOU CUNT YOU ARE IGNORANT!" would make me happy. Smile

He's such a tease.

Note 8 has an annotation now. A creepy one at that.

I read note 6 wrong, so disregard my comments on that. He only started crying after he got stabbed. Of course, I would too.

I decided that I may as well join up too - scheduleless summer = loads of free time. Smile

I think it's one person writing these messages. The razor blade and such make it clear he's emo.

I think someone over at SA tried ben@notestomary and came up empty. Same result with steve/steven/Jesus/all forms of jacobs(I think). Mary is, of course, unavailable.
I don't think Pete/Peter/Cecilla have been yet, though. Dick, in the vulgar sense, is in there. Can't hurt there, either.
Have any other names come up in the notes?

Interesting factoid: Robert Burns' wife was named Mary. Likely a wild goose, inspiration for the names, or soemthing. Just thouhgt I'd throw it out here.

EDIT: With that new annotation, Simon@notestomary, maybe?

Just got this from Robert:

"Partial venues. Partial series.

2/4

qbtx

Series three of five."

Interesting.

Given past responses? Good luck.

I've been thinking: we were told that another venue is on the bottom of one of the notes. I'm thinking a layered image, uncompressed somehow. I'm no photoshop wizard, but I know that one can create a layer and hide it completely under another, putting it on the bottom.

More musical associations: "Valdemar: Saving Grace" is a record by Bob Dylan.

EDIT: Partial series = totally worthless without the rest. If/when we get those others up and running, I'm confident he'll play fair and give us the rest.

[s]2/4 is interesting Does that fit with the muscical measure theorized about previously?[/s] Just refreshed the SA thread - explains that.

Hi guys...SA'er checking in and saying thanks for the help.

Here's what goon Clavietika just got:
1/4

uygv

2/4

qbtx

Which gives us, uygvqbtx

I'm as code-handy as I am at governing thermodynamics, soooo...go nuts.

He's a little too messed in the head for us to just write him off as another emo kid. Trying that e-mail address wouldn't hurt.

Because MySpace is the most horrible site on the Internet. And no, he won't be nice.

The "out of four" thing might be referring to the fact that there are four series left, seeing how the one on Flickr was the fourth of five. But then there would be a specific order, and if we were given so-and-so out of four, there would e no indication as to which one would come after the series on Flickr. Huh.

I've seen songs from 4/4 to 29/8. Anything really goes in terms of signature.

EDIT: "Aorist knows".

Aorist on SA wrote:
Good grief, that was a lot of catching up. I hate leaving these things and coming back. I remembered the use of the word "revelation" in an earlier message, and sure enough, St. Peter had one, though it was ruled Apocrypha and kept out of the Bible.

http://www.allsaintssanfran.org/Twe...on_of_peter.htm

I'm not sure yet if it's relevant, but most of it is related to people burning, so I'm not counting it out yet.

Shibaz just pointed to my post about Peter's Revelation as the answer, and the note changed to "Shibaz Doesn't". That makes me think Robert's talking about this that I posted about the new letter sequences: "Well, none of the letters repeat, so I'm doubting that it's a straight letter-shift like rot13. Maybe a jumble? I don't know, here's to hoping the last two make it obvious. Although, the "4/4=1" was paired with four lines of four numbers. Maybe this set of four lines of four letters will connect with those four lines of four numbers?"

Hey guys, been following this on SA and here, and just thought I'd throw something out, despite me most likely being wrong. On the main site, I've noticed there's a question mark in the upper right-hand corner, which leads to "In Memory". Maybe after so many venues, the letters or whatnot will turn out to be part of the login, where one of us figures out what's going on. Just a thought.

Aw, I don't know Sad

Please, goons, call me DJ from now on. I know you don't like complicated leet names.

So it must've been referring to your guess of the equal numbers of lines connecting, or the rot13 guess. Or both. Ah, so confusing.

I'm going to go through the threads and compile all the ones that match up, look for a future edit.

EDIT: The future is now:

Quote:
0624UYGV4A75
1115QBTX6E65
1981----3234
0246----7468

This is what we have so far. This is, of course, ASSUMING that there are only four rows and that the "partial series" is the top two rows. What I don't understand is that it is currently on four venues as of now, but we only have two and a half series. Hyphens stand for missing numbers.

EDIT2 UPDATE: Now here's a problem. It appears likely that even though the partial series was part of series three, series three according to the notestomary e-mail I got comes BEFORE series two. It's either that, or the OP in SA has them numbered wrong.

Until we get the other half of series three, series four, and series five, we're sitting ducks. I'm going to send the main site e-mail a message, see if I can get anything extra.

EDIT2: CapnHenry knows!

Note #3 definitely looks like it was folded like an airplane. As well the 1/4, 2/4 things seem to indicate we need 3/4 and 4/4 to complete Message 3 (the other two messages were 4 lines, and were complete as 4/4= 1 message). I'm already working on the first two lines of message 3 with different cipher tools, but nothing so far.

Also, he e-mailed me back.

Hey, I've been following the SA thread as well. I actually reactivated my account here last night in hope that someone here would have started a thread, and upon waking up this morning I haven't been disappointed Smile

I don't have any new insights, just registering my interest.

I emailed him last night on notestomarySPLATnotestomary.com but haven't had any response yet. I guess he just doesn't like me Sad

Note 5 - BlackMako85 doesn't.

Seeing how the annotations seem to be one venue per letter, BlackMako85 is the user from Evil Avatar.

He posted two theories - that this is viral for the new Shinedown album out on Tuesday (ugh) or that the filename for Kwosge's avatar's filename was part of the login for the question mark. Either way, one was already disproved, and hopefully I haven't been tricked into promoting Shinedown.

If anyone needs anything I'll be available via AIM and e-mail all night.

EDIT: My e-mail revealed it's a Gronsfeld cipher, according to Capn Henry on SA. No confirmation on whether he's right or not yet.
