Wow, I'm surprised by the Grayshot game bashing. The drawings look great, some might need retouching. This is a fan-made game in progress.

How can you honestly think those look good? Stick a pen in my asscrack, i guarantee i could draw better renditions of terror and panic than those pieces of shit.

Really prove it! Without the pen up your asscrack part. Because honestly I think the guys that put a lot work into these drawings. Despite how much you hate Grayshot, you don't have to play it. There's a good reason it's called Grayshot and not Greyshot. To anyone else Clover and Grayshot does not look alike.

Looks like i'm talking to the artist. Have you ever seen good art? Because i honestly think those are some of the worst drawings i've ever seen. I mean, i graduated with an art degree so maybe i'm being overly critical, but still.
Yeah they don't look alike. Except for every element of it is a complete knockoff. If they don't look alike, then let me ask you this: If cloverfield hadn't had come out and the title was going to be "Greyshot," would this game have ever come out? The answer is obviously no...so don't try to tell me they don't look alike. That's insulting to everyone in here.

Oh yes, I've seen many great art. But how my opinion is insulting to everyone and I'm a Cloverfield fan as well. But however you want to look at it, is your opinion suckaH.

No, that's the point. They're far too detailed to be concept art, but far less detailed to look even halfway decent. They are right in the middle...which does nothing but confuse, infuriate, or (in my case) laugh my ass off.

I Think Your Work Is Great
I couldn't Do It

I usually don't get involved, but this is annoying. Someone has taken the time to create and work on a project they believe members at this forum would be interested in. I believe he was going to do this with or without our interest though. He has displayed his work for all of us to look at and watch as it starts as a concept and becomes an actual game. I think its great.

One would expect people to refrain from flaming this work, because its not just another trouted idea trying to explain the movie before it came out, but its actually a personal creation. May it be based on Cloverfield...sure, that's why he's a member of this forum. But unfortunately this freedom of expression has to be ruined by some half wit, immature, art major that thinks he knows better cause he decided to pay money to get an art based diploma. Congratulations! A diploma isn't a free pass at being an over analyzing prick...sorry. So why not lay off and try to learn what your mother obviously never taught you. If you have nothing nice to say, then don't say anything at all. Grow up, and if your older than 30, which I wouldn't be shocked by, then your late at this growing up thing, so start working on it ASAP.

Why not try to appreciate what you can't do. You might be an art major, but really try to focus on painting, sculpting, cartooning, or even history. Appreciate the online work this guy has created. It may not be great in your eyes, but can you do better? He never labeled himself Picasso, so who made you the master judge?

Why not just get along?

For someone with a line from a Christian worship song in their tagline, you sure do have a wicked tongue.

No we don't agree on that. That's not what i was saying at all. I was just saying it's ironic and hypocritical that he happened to have that as his tagline while he spouted off on me.

Listen NYC5. I've put my art put up in places and have had them be absolutely berated like you wouldn't believe. Did it hurt? Oh hell yeah. Did it make my work better? I would have to say an even more resounding hell yeah. I would be a shitty artist (not that i'm not...i still have a loooong way to go) if not for criticism, both constructive and destructive. Constructive makes you think about how to improve your work, while destructive gives you the passion to go through with it. The people who are making this game better get used to this; the video game industry seems like one that is unforgiving. I don't think the creators of the enter the matrix game have recovered from the reviews that that game got.
Overall, i am not the least bit sorry about what i said. I think this game is a complete ripoff of cloverfield and the fact that paramount hasn't gotten their hands around the creators throats yet astounds me. However, i really do hope that all the criticism they are getting fuels them and causes this game to be amazing. I'll probably end up checking it out once it's all done. It may be the closest we get to an actual cloverfield game.

That being said, i must also say:
- No i am not over 30.
- No i am not immature in real life. Definitely just the internet.
- Yes my mother taught me manners...again, this is THE INTERNET.
- No i am not a painter, drawer, sculptor, art historian, or any combination of any of the above.
- Lastly, are any of the creators of this game a part of this forum? I don't think i ever saw any of them post if so.

Wow, i almost want to say a TL:DR on myself.

First off, my tag is a play on the Tagruato logo. Not a religious person in the least. Second, I think there is a fine line between constructive criticism and just being mean.

Helpful comment...

Instead of using the "vast knowledge" of art you have from your online college degree, you decide to be a dick. Maybe some feedback on particular parts you think could use revision would have been positive, but instead you just slam his work. I just stepped in because I hate to see someones hard work get shat on by a bunch of internet bully's trying to make up for bad childhood memories.

Also, just because your on the internet doesn't mean its ok to be a dick. It just means your too much of a coward to do it face to face. That just makes you a tool.
