it was good, but it could have been better, and they've left room for yet another sequel. but overall it was good one.

what'd you think of it?

it was alright, i actually did expect a lot better though, after the last one. i'm not gonna get into the whole deal since i'm outa here for an early weekend right now.

it was alright, less corny than the last one, but maybe not as entertaining. i'm still undecided. the characters sucked. coulda done without all of them.

It could have been so dope if they intertwined it with the actual alien and predator stories. Instead they opted to create a plot which is directly opposite in what happened with the original movie, and relied on boring action sequences.
I was entertained with the original avp. Requiem was a complete waste of money though.

completely backwards, if you've seen the original movies, the first AvP was a tragedy for the major fans.

When did i said it wasn't?
I just said that as far as a cinematic experience, the first one was much more enjoyable than the sequel. As for a plotline, they both shit all over the original alien and predator series. I think the second one more than the first, but i guess that's up to the viewer.

Ya, the plot completely trivializes the original movies. BIG fuckin' lapses of logic. but whatever, i don't expect greatness.

man, what a weekend. Dethklok was insane!

How was it? And when i say "how," i meant how did they immortalize cartoons in concert?

it was mostly just videos for the songs they were playing with the real band below the screen actually playing. then a good chunk of the time it was the cartoon band playing as if they were on stage mixed with clips of violence and murder. haha. it synced up perfectly, those dudes must've practiced their asses off. and a lot of fun extra stuff. facebones came out on screen for some 'moshing do's and don'ts', and the camera followed murderface into the bathroom when he left stage. the band made fun of him for sitting down to piss. haha.

a lot of other little videos and shit in between songs. lotsa fun, i don't remember all of it cause i was a kinda wasted by the end. but man, was so impressed. i always have gripes coming out of concerts like 'aww, i wish they played this song', etc. but i've never left a show feeling that satisfied, it exactly met my incredibly high expectations.

yup, and they were just as good as i remember. we were standing a little too close to the speaker for their set so the sound wasn't great, but the songs were spot on. i didn't get there in time for soilent green, i hear they're alright.

you wouldn't have believed the crowd though. i haven't seen a turnout like that for even a real band in a long time. they were all goin fuckin nuts. was much more of a party atmosphere than i'm used to at shows.

Haha that's cool. I would imagine that they'd be just the right kind of people. Young enough to know how to party, but old enough to know that being "REAL HXC IN DA PIT!!1!" is gay as hell. I'm hoping that that's the kind of people who are going to the Thrash and Burn tour, but alas...i don't see that happening.

I've actually only seen one episode of that show. I don't find cable to be something necessary to spend money on. From what i saw though, it seemed entertaining. They got the metalhead parody down 100% perfect, that's for sure.
