 		Maybe if we get the other codes sorted just to see if they make sense that should see if hatesandwich is credible or not

Possibly, by entering Memory, we will be entering Robert's memory, where Ben seems to play a large part. So, Ben exists in Robert's Memory as the gatekeeper. Not so much that he is coming to us from beyond the grave.

Anyone else have any thoughts about what they think will happen tonight?

 		I'm afraid that when we finally get the user name and password, there's gonna be more stuff to figure out. And that once we see inside, nothing that we've already figured out is gonna make any sense.

 		It's obvious Mary is dead. To me, anyway.
This takes place in the past. Once the pass/user is entered, we will see everything from "memory"
Also, how else does he have Mary's notes again..?
He writes, scans, and sends to her?
Or did he take them all back?
He wrote them and never gave them to her
Mary is either dead, or a personality

If Mary is just another personality, then that would imply that Steven and Ben are most likely personalities as well. Since, how could a real person date Mary and taunt Robert about it if Mary is Robert, right? Then, that gets a little Fight Club on us, with the pencil stabbing, but I suppose anything is possible that this point.

I'm going to stick with the theory that only Robert is only R!P and P!R, and that Ben, Mary and Steven are other people.

Hahah, yeah I guess it is.
But, I would not look forward to more venues to spread this. I got really sucked into this story, so it would be fun to have more.

But, honestly, I think whatever we're working towards has a great chance of being time sensitive. All the first codes and clues were very spread apart. Then they came faster, but when one goon didn't notice one, all of us still had to wait until that person noticed he'd been called out.

Then, the last ones all came at once, and they weren't in the 5 venues but in a chat. So, that seems like they were rushed, like there's some kind of deadline, that has to be met, in order for this whole thing to work the way it was planned.


I also believe that Mary, Ben, and Steven are separate people. I believe that Ben was older than all of them, because he liked the Violent Femmes or whatever that band was, and they were in the 80's/early 90's. Robert said he never heard of them before he knew/met Ben.

I also think R!P/P!R is the same person, but I think it might be Robert's conscious. It seems P!R is always positive, and alot of his emails end with words like "Certainly" on more than one occasion. Kind of like in cartoons, where there is an angel on one shoulder and a devil on the other.

 		Didn't someone earlier link to a news story about a Ben being hit and killed by an SUV? That would suggest that Ben is real.

I seem to recall P!R (or was it R!P) saying Ben was 16 when he died, not 18

 		There's a lot of talk about whether hatesandwich is legit or not. I'm going all internet detective to find out.

As far as I can tell, there's nothing that directly contradicts him and outs him as a troll. Given the amount of evidence he has, he's either the real thing or a damn good troll. The concerns of course is that everything he gives us is either vague and obtuse or stuff we already know, and that robertSPLATnotestomary.com has not vouched for him.

Of course, I'm suspicious of everyone that claims to be a character in our story, unless the emails come from notesSPLATnotestomary.com, robertSPLATnotestomary.com or notestomarySPLATgmail.com

However I think if anyone is P!R, hatesandwich is the most likely.

Remember when we got the first indication that Robert was watching the IRC channel? What happened was that Ferrous of SA and I were discussing our paranoia about how Robert was reading all our posts, and that it was scary having that many idlers in the channel just watching.

Actual chat went as follows:

At this point, jakob/Ferrous opens his email to find a message reading:

It could be a coincidence, if so, a damn good one. But it most likely points to him reading the chat and is our primary evidence that he is doing so.

There were 8 people in the chat at the time, because Ferrous can't count. I screencapped the page at the time, which is attached below as Exhibit A. Ideally we can discount me and jakob/Ferrous. void'askles is intervoid the goon, Granny is Rebecca the goon and Monoxide also posts on SA, and all contributed to the discussion at the time.

Which leaves 3 - viragosa, ScubaSteve and our friend hatesandwich. Googling viragosa brings up a goon, and the details match for the stuff in IRC. ScubaSteve also appears to be a goon, judging by his steam profile. A google of hatesandwich brings up very little indeed, and nothing suggesting a profile on any of the venues (/x/ wasn't a venue at the time). We just assumed he was a random goon.

Assuming the IRC thing isn't a huge coincidence (which the mirroring of the wording in our chat in the actual email suggests), P! is either hatesandwich, one of those goons (maybe even Ferrous), myself (if you're really paranoid, you can think I'm lying to put you off my tracks) or one of the IRC Sysops.

 		I emailed Robert asking if hatesandwich was a false prophet. I sent the message about 5-6 hours ago and I haven't gotten a reply yet.

 		Based on the fact that the login now works and goes to a countdown timer, I'd say hatesandwich is at least in league with P.

Considering it was more or less simultaneous to him changing his username to "hatesandwich|GateOpen" on IRC, it pretty much confirmed it.
