"sea beds nectar" is...
somebody has probably already thought of this... but o well. just another theory.

ok, sea bed's nectar is the monster's blood. The parasites love it. That comet was a cluster of parasites which later infest our ocean and starts making things difficult for the tagruato team to keep drilling for nectar/blood. The saliva from the parasites is what made clover powerful. It has some reaction with the blood. That same reaction happens to humans who have consumed nectar/blood only people explode!!! The monster's blood has some sort of regeneration ability that intensifies when combined with the parasites saliva!!! im probably missing a few key points in the tagruato and clover interaction. but you get the point
