Yeah, using Pape all the way over there is easy enough. Hoofing it in the NE corner is also easy enough, since that part goes through a park. I'm not so sure how to fix the southern section, though. Perhaps I'll take a trip over there tonight...for now, I am stuck at home as hubby says there is a package coming for me.

I haven't heard any confirmations that people are free to walk/drive this thing tomorrow...anyone still up for it, or should we move it to July 5, or should I plan on finding some non-uF friends who can do the video/photo/walking work?

Edit: p.s. I edited the Google Map to show using Pape, and tried to tidy up some sections where walking to make things better looks feasible.

I could join you, but it's another $26 for the transport I think it would be pretty cool to have video recorded though...

Sorry, it was Pita's map I edited...here. I didn't see any ability to "Save As" vs. "Save", but I do have Pita's original design downloaded to Google Earth should we want to revert to any aspect of it.

Good point about transport costs...silly me . Is there anything that is going to bring you to the Toronto area anyway in the next few weeks? I'm not trying to pressure anyone to be there, I just want to give people the opportunity to be there if they'd like, so if you will be here sometime we can delay. If you can't be here, no problem. I can always pass on the strength stickers and tattoos to you guys another time (or mail them, even...I think Team Guelph deserves some more swag for getting a training laby going in the snow ).

Hi! I am in Toronto, and I have a video camera! I can for sure come out.... I have to admit I have not been following the game much though so I am a wee bit confused about what is actually going on - but I am always game for live events

Ok, looks like 10:30 is a good time for everyone to meet up. I know it is early, but the people from Guelph need to be on their way back home by about 4:30 and my friend in town has to work in the evening. (This also gives us time for getting to the labyrinth route, getting people back to the bus depot when it's done, lunch, mistakes, etc.) When thebruce and I got the Toronto Codex piece, I picked him up in front of the Best Buy near Bay and Dundas, and I think it should work out to do that again (and I won't be nearly so lost downtown this time, heh). It is not the area the labyrinth is in, but since I have to get thebruce and Melody there anyway (that is where their bus comes in) we may as well all meet at the same place. I suggest those of you who are in the city take the subway to Dundas station and then walk west to the Best Buy. I have thebruce's cell phone number and that of my friend in town, so when I get there I can call you if you don't spot me. Star Spider, if you have a cell # and are still going to come along, pm your # to me (and maybe to thebruce, too) so we can all make sure everyone gets connected that day. (Also, Star Spider, if you would prefer some other location to meet up, send me a pm with your suggestion and we'll work something out; I don't know where in Toronto you live so I don't know what is most convenient for you.)

Looks like it will be my friend in town, thebruce, Melody, Star Spider, and me? I can fit 5 in my car, but don't bring a suitcase pls k thnx . I like that Star Spider has a video camera and thebruce can do video footage also; that means we could have video footage of both what's happening in the car and on foot for sections where any splitting up is required! My camera can also do video, but I'll be driving; I'll bring it along in case someone feels the need to use it (maybe for stills) but looks like if Star Spider and thebruce will both be there we will be covered. I am going to drive by the area again either tomorrow or Friday and get more familiar with the layout, spot any problems I can see from the car, etc.

Wellll...actually, my friend here in Toronto is not a Lost Ring player, she was just willing to be recruited since I didn't think I was going to get anyone (no one was responding for a long time except thebruce, and it looked like travel arrangements weren't going to work out for him and Melody at first). Now that we have 5 actual Lost Ring players participating, I've thanked my friend for being willing to help out, but 6 people in my car would not have been very much fun at all, heh .
