Unfortunately my font does not have little hats (apologies to all linguists), so I just bolded the letters that have little hats (I'm so sorry).

I realize the photos are coming, I assume that 1/5 of this will be taken apart and reassembled. is there an obvious part that that might be?

Should the rings be welded shut and tight and prove impossible to disassemble, maybe it won't have to be a physical disassembly so much as rearranging parts of the information we'll find on the inside of each of them ? MrJudkins did mention there was more on the ring than just the sentence in esperanto, after all.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
It would also make more sense in terms of gameplay : as a puppet master, you probably wouldn't want to take the risk that the rings, or parts of the rings get lost in the mail on the way to the location where they'll be reassembled...

Here is the first image of the Ring I've been able to upload, with more on the way which you will be able to find HERE .
It came with a stand upon which it revolves. To show you what I mean, we've recorded a short video using Seero.com to illustrate. Check it out .

Good job, mr.judkins and __june!
I am comparing your movie and the trailers, but do you think other rings can be fixed inside the first ring, with axes or something?

Note that there are 27 segments, and that they are coloured blue on the inside.
I assume the other rings will be red, yellow, green and black to match the Olympic colours.

Ah, the symbolism of it ... I had not imagined it would be so huge! Has anyone already translated the entire message? My Esperanto is not quite sufficient. Something about five rings, one world getting united, the journey of the chosen athletes, the world waiting for the arrival of the Olympic Games, home, friendship ...?

Ridiculous. I'm getting SO excited. It's much bigger than I ever would have guessed.

I'm so happy it looks like the spinning bike tires from the trailers

If the rings are to be assembled to a concentric something like shown in the trailer, I wonder where to place the blue ring: Close to the centre? But how big will the outer ones be, then?
EDIT:
I wonder whether that pattern of little holes on both sides of the inscription means anything as well. Braille?

I think it was Ariock who mentioned this morning on IRC that, according to the tax records featured in Eli's podcast, the rings were all of the same size ? It might therefore not be possible to fit the rings together the way they fit in the trailers.

quick attempt at translating
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The rings number 5 and one world joins through game to be itself a message. For the elected athletes is the honor to voyage. The world waited for the arrival with the olympiad. Before you return to your home you will (gain?) friends with every continent.
I wonder about gijnos in that last sentence - any letters missing?

Ah, I see - "diamètre 38" for all of them , that answers my question.
By the way, it's so strange to see that it's deep winter in Wellington while we are sweating and enjoying the summer here on the northern hemisphere ...
Gijnos? Looks more like "gajnos" on the photo , doesn't it? "Gain"?
