Citizens for Batman packages you'll never believe what happened today. so this morning at 11:30 when i was going into my kitchen to get some breakfast, i notice the mail is here and i see this awesome-looking magazine that i have to go back and look at. turns out it was nothing, just some dumb magazine. then i look through the rest of the various envelopes, etc. then my sister comes into the kitchen and says "hey, you got this in the mail." so i look over at this package she is holding in her hand. it's a good-sized cardboard box in the shape of a cube. big enough to hold a watch with a clasp thingy on it (you know how you see them in packages in stores?). so i look on top and it says "CFB" "PO Box whatever" "CA 91011" or something. and it was addressed to "*my name*". immediately i blurt out "Citizens for Batman??" so i got some scissors and cut the tape off. i pull the cardboard flab out and it opened upwards. on the inside flap it had the familiar citizens for batman logo (the batman arm clenched fist). inside this little box were two circular stickers that just had the batman arm on them, two bigger rectangular stickers that have the batman arm on them and say "Citizens for Batman", a circular pin that says citizens for batman, a somewhat heavy little keychain that is made out of metal that is shaped like the batman arm and on the back has citizens for batman written, and a nice letter with "07-08 08" written on the back of it:
"Citizens for Batman!
It's time to go public. To really defend Batman, we have to show the world how big our movement is. So check out the goodies inside and show your pride in CFB!
And get ready for a MAJOR show of force July 8th. (check out citizensforbatman.org for the latest).

and that was about it. pretty neat, huh?

Will I still get one? I've been away from my computer on vacation for the last few weeks and hadn't been up to date on anything since the Gotham City Pizzeria game.
To my dismay, I logged onto the wiki this morning and read about the packages!! Damnation! I was so upset I'd missed the op!
I decided to try anyways, even though the submission date was a day ago. Surprisingly, I got an email back that they had received my submission and were reviewing it.
I just got an email 5 minutes ago telling me it had been accepted...and it's there!!! But, here's the question... Will I still get a package?
I'm leaning towards no because my assumption is that they might have a preset number of packages and had all of them planned for delivery today...
What do you think?

Please, if anyone is coming to ARGFest who receives this package, please bring it to be displayed at the museum (and put it into the ARGFest Wiki for the Museum so I can plan).
Thanks.
Sincerely, the ARG Museum "Curator".

Yeah. I noticed that two others were posted at the same time mine was so i'll assume they were late entries as well, but since then, there have been no others...
I'm crossing my fingers and hoping that I just made the mark. I'll be haunting my mailbox for the next little while, that's for sure.

I noticed something interesting here, but it's probably just a coincidence. The Gotham City logo says that the city was incorporated on July 8th, 1628. I wonder if there will be more than just this CFB thing...

That's also when the limited edition Batman Begins is released.
