Geez, you aren't kidding.
I can't imagine that being "in game", but aren't the comments there moderated? It doesn't make sense to have an "in game" site be unmoderated!
I'd quote it here, but it might violate site Terms of Service.
I think Sony just doesn't get it... Have they done this sort of viral marketing before? Paramount's done it a dozen times, but Sony's horribly confused at the concept.

so... Big Brother's watching! The comment is now gone... They are doing a pretty good job of watching the forum, and i think they are doing a pretty good job overall for their first time, just a little bit of learn as you go, but thats to be expected, i just got into arg's and virals in january anyway, and went through a learnign curve as well

We've not had an update no this for a while now, but I guess, if they are watching the boards, that means they're still keen to keep this going. It'd be nice to know one way or the other though.

For what it's worth, the "Quarantine" Facebook group points out that they are now on Twitter:

Their subtlety continues, it seems...

I was listening to the radio around 11 pm and heard an ad that had a news broadcast, then the ad went to a mysterious guy who says " Find the pattern."
Any ideas?

I tried searching for clues on the CDC website but doubt that they would allow something like this on it.
Tried to search for blogspots for angela vidal and the night shift show and nothing.
Has this viral ended? Has everyone given up? Maybe that's why the puppetmasters lost interest
