I'm pretty sure the key to the puzzle is in the two "missing tracks" on the blog. The end of one of them sounds like the sounds you get when you mouse over the symbols.

I can arrange it do say "dance the pop" but I'm not getting a right answer yet.

hardly worth posting this, but I got a response from the author of the Atlantis article that the Ibiza hacking sends you to:

Quote:
Dear Jelloarm,
I cannot shed any light on this. None of my websites has been hacked during the
previous years.
Best regards,
Rainer Kühne

Prize Update

Well my prize almost came today... but I wasn't home to receive the package!

I did however get a tracking number which revealed that it was shipped all the way from Melsele, Belgium.

I'll be home tomorrow to get it and hopefully it will be more than a Pioneer CDJ-400 (yep that's what I'm getting btw Cool ), but will also contain some clues to help us solve this new puzzle!

Either way pics to follow!

And just a reminder that we have a IRC channel called #whiteisland that we can maybe use to put our heads together and solve this thing Smile

Lucky lucky!
New clues? Please say it's true! If so, I'm in for a little IRC brainstorming.

Come on in! The water here at #whiteisland is fine!
And I've been all alone on the beach in there for weeks...

The Swag Has Arrived!!!

You can go check out pics HERE

Unfortunately the version that came is Europeon so I can't even plug it in and try it out. I'm going to contact the person who contacted me about my prize about it.

Wow that sentence is super convoluted! Laughing

Wild in the Country

Wild in the Country, the July 5 concert we've been waiting for, was canceled. Any news about what, if anything, we were supposed to learn there.

Well, crap. I would hate to be in the PMs position... They're probably freaking out, if something was supposed to be going on...

 New puzzle on thewhiteisland.com

There is a new puzzle (No. 3) on the website which was now solved by me this evening.

Pointing and clicking on the picture of the trinket guy leads you to this puzzle: it shows a map of europe and a route on the right side, which you can place onto the map.

Above the route there is an advice: "Drag the rout onto the map to find the path"

Pointing the pike of the route on the location of ibiza leads you to the following 4 daestinations: IBIZA, BARCELONA,LONDON, DORTMUND (this ist the place, where this years "loveparade" takes place on the 19th of this month).

Then there appear 4 ancient symbols on the right side, which you have to put into 4 square boxes on the maps next to the locations.

The order of these signs is:
Ibiza: )O(
Barcelona: *
London: the "waves"
Dortmund: the "box" sign

Putting this symbols in that order in the boxes will make a new website open, which is named: www.antonioperleamo.com. The site is als mentioned on the mainpage thewhiteisland.com

So, what do you guys think about this new clues?

Cheers from Germany

Wink

Well done! And crap, when did they add the book to the WI main site?! I've been watching everything but that page so far. Evil or Very Mad Has anyone solved puzzle two for that matter?

So, Perleamo is the AP that was hinted at in Schulten's letter. I can't seem to find him anywhere online. If he is fictitious, I'm going to go ahead and make a guess that he is the Trinket Man.

Strange 'Auto Writing' quote on the second AP page:
Quote:
"Soft breasts of ursa minor delicate on the open sky bulb. Tin for the lion, silver for the serpent. I come not to sodomise but to sanctify, it said on Castor's hat. I followed them all, Prince and men of coal, to a great fortress. The smell of ships. We swam hot and salty til we were swollen and empty, found ourselves dancing in a ball of pages on vermillion sands, stripped from the parrot's throat by the doctor and his galvanic tuxedo."

And greetings, welle! It looks like 'belle and myself have a place in the Who's Who section of the book on WI, and I'm guessing that you will too eventually if you were the first to finish the 3rd puzzle. Congrats in advance if you win the prize for that puzzle.

Now how do I get to win? Smile

ETA - we have at least two symbols that I can see in AP's painting. Rough edges make me think we may get more pieces to put together (or it was just from a fire I suppose).

And what does Dortmund have to do with the rest - another music venue?

ETA 2 - answered my own question:

This weekend.

Thanks for the congrats in advance, MrToasty! I`m anxious to know, of i was the first who solved the 3rd puzzle.

Found the "book" on the WI Mainpage accidential this evening.

Your thougt, that AP could be the trinket guy is a good idea.

Let`s keep in touch about this.

Greetings from Europe to the US.

Very Happy
