 		It seems that the experiment escaped and the letter is stating that everyone should stay inside the compound because the weather is too cold.

I think it was just an accidentally misplaced "[/url]" tag, not an indication of any urls in the letter.

Probably just setting the stage for those of us who knew nothing about R:FOM or any ARG that may/may not have happened surrounding.

That's what I'm thinking. They're adding a bit of meat to the story before they give us any more clues, and the way the site is set up it looks like there will be a series of videos as well as some more 'documentation' on our 'desk'.

[Spec] The first subject had an adverse reaction to the serum and went all Hulk-Rage on the lab. It's unclear whether or not he has been detained or did end up escaping, but I think it's safe to infer that this first subject (remember, we don't really have a name or face for the subject in the first video) is NOT Hale, as Hale didn't really have any adverse reactions to the serum (I haven't played much of the game, so I don't know how true that is, I should probably fact-check before speculating, huh?). So him having the picture of the 6 subjects in his locker makes sense as it would retain some nostalgia and remorse (judging by the reaction from Test Subject 1, someone who has a 'bad trip' on that stuff would probably die or have to be killed).[/Spec]
