Hi Guys,

I was there too, one of the groups set a new world record for the competition size labrynth. Can't remember what it was though...
How many UF members do we have based in London... Should we be organising a London City Labrynth? Sorry I haven't been following UF as close as I'd have liked... been a tricky couple of months...

A new world record or a new worlds record? Smile

we can answer that.
Ariadne's twitter says the new gaea record is 2:14 for 7-circuit.
Using the TRAINING/GAEA command on the omphaputer, the old record was 2:30.
per the wiki the record on other words is 1:29 on pangaea, with the slowest non-GAEA world being PANGEA/ULTIMA with a time of 1:50.

So, it's just a new GAEA world record.

I looked at those amazing videos from London and Vienna at Ariadne's new post . Wow. This all looks fantastic.

I wonder where did all those people come from. Did you found them just on the street and asked if they want to participate? Or are they Chippy's friends? Who are they all (e.g. the girl in the first video. Chippy, is that you?)

Especially in Vienna, how did Jane organized those people. I do not know of any active FTLR player from Austria!

Organizing the omphalabyrinth runner in Vienna was easy once Jane was in town. You can see pictures at Jane's flickr account.

It was a very enthusiastic omphalabyrinth runner.
She even worn a Save The World t-shirt, and found tons of omens reminding her she was on the right track (rings, 6 rings, ariadne's, toilet seat omphalos, stadion, even a reference to the Rapid Continental Shift)

I'm guessing the trick is to attach the lost sport to an existing festival http://www.flickr.com/photos/avantgame/2649173143/in/photostream/
