Zoot. It appears that my virtual equivalent of passing notes with "Do you like me?" scrawled across them between Ethan and Ty was not enough... *sighs*. Next time I'm just gonna kidnap Ethan and dump him on her doorstep.

Somebody posted earlier that the trick to ARG is knowing which question needs to be answered. But this game kinda stumbles all over that. We figure out the question and spend a week figuring out we have to act like we are in Junior High in order to move forward.

I am sorry, but I am freaking old, and it's really hard to remember how to act like an idiot to meet a boy. I'm with you Jelloarm. No more passing notes. Let's get a little more direct.

Yeah, totally. I was saying that in IRC to someone last night. This ARG is way too social. Plus, I don't particularly see the advantage of granting greater access to people who win points. Tyler PMd me on MySpace and said I could email her there. But I don't know what I would email her about. Just to say hi? All the clues are released in the wild right? So what's the point. Because anything that I could learn with said greater access would just immediately get posted here...because its a community effort.

Aye, it is a community effort, but with e-mail access you'd likely be able to get your answer in ahead of everyone else and further embed yourself into the game and once you become a common name it's easier to slip you in a cameo at the end of this season or the begining of the next.

This portion of the game is really hard for people like me: nerdy, socially inept, military types who do better with research, facts and investigations than with matchmaking.

TOO SOCIAL????? Whaaaaaaa?

The characters won't even interact with you! Good lord I tried with Ethan. Very frustrating for someone that NEVER had a problem getting men to talk to her...then I thought maybe it was freaking him out having someone old enough to be his mother telling him to get it on with some broad he's never met......

I do not play games with men in the real world. I don't waste time anymore. And it *is* a waste of time. So to me, this whole scenario right now is a HUGE freaking waste of time. Did I mention it's a waste of time???

How long do we have to sit around while Taylor grows enough huevos to get her little self over to this coffee bar? And then how many times of her cruising is it gonna take before she actually talks to Ethan? And do we have to hold our breath while the meeting goes nowhere and wait for Ethan to return the sunglasses or whatever nonsensical accessory Taylor chooses to leave behind accidentally on purpose? Oh wait, I bet we have to GUESS what accessory she leaves behind before she will actually meet up with him again to retrieve it.

If she posts a video asking us what she should *wear* to this fiasco of a meeting.....I will vomit.

Even re-runs of Beverly Hills 90210 progress faster than this, and they have about the same content. EEEW.

AND I SINCERELY HOPE SOMEONE FROM DELETED IS READING THIS! I'd post it to one of their sites but I don't want to ruin their go at an ARG.

now now. this is all still pregame. its to early for a mutiny. its not like later on there gonna tell us which way to go and where to look. i also think there looking for more people to sign up( i was told so by the Deleted myspace)this isnt going to be your typical "hive" or "collective" game hence the point system. you have to be the first person with the right answer the first time. so i think right now take it all with a grain salt. hang out relax. awkward, nerd, or not its only gonna get better. a month and a half is long time to wait. and we know they watch us so maybe your prayers will be answered. just better be first.

p.s.
we are all nerds and awkward thats why were here. and feel free to tell me to shutup i really have no idea what im talking about.

Whoaaa girl! Just calm down. Shocked I didn't mean anything against you (really, that's in your favor). I was really just agreeing that I'm socially inept when it comes to dating and as such won't be very much help here.

See????????????

I knew that's where this was going. So I did it. I sent Tyler a message telling her to try the mornings at FIKA and wear a Columbia University t-shirt since it was Ethan's alma mater and could be a conversation starter.

I knew it would get to fashion sooner or later. The things I do for the sake of a puzzle....aye yi yi.

I must vomit now.

EDIT: here is a link to Fika's website....http://www.fikanyc.com.

Uh... why are you making the determination that this belongs here? What makes you think that this is related?
