Wow, That's a good job!

Indeed! Can we get one like that made for ring #1?

During the closing ceremonies all athletes share the pride of champions. They got fast, high, strong.

Does this help? I mean, the Codex told us that the most important informations will be hidden in the Lost Rings. But this seems not very informative (up to now).

Well, how did you think about the Esperanto message on the first ring?

I think we will have to cut out some phrases from these messages, and combine them into a new message, sort of instruction.
The third line is shifted - I mean, it looks like "high, strong. ... fast,"

Yes, something that I thought about, too. Which also means that we propably have to bring the rings together at one place. That is a challenging task.

What about the line "ten multiplying the spirits"? does that mean there will need to be ten of each strength present for the portal to open?

Certainly. Very Happy

We'll take some more pics when we get a chance!

This post is also META, but I'm not offending PM, rather I want to help pickuppers of the remaining three rings.

I've been thinking why distances in the voicemail were extremely inaccurate, in spite of showing 4 or 5 significant digits. For example, the position 8644 stadia from Dongying is 60km east from Osaka. This is not caused by the inaccurate direction.

I tried conversion of the distances into miles.
(8644 stadia x 0.185) / 1.609344 = 993.659528 miles
(5176 stadia x 0.185) / 1.609344 = 595.000199 miles
(26.183 stadia x 0.185) / 1.609344 = 3.00983196 miles
These are 1000, 600 and 3 miles, within 1% errors.

I suppose the original distances might have only one or two siginificant digits.
So I'd like to advise future pickuppers that we should not rely on the accuracy of distances too much.

Speaking of future pickup-ing, when do you guys think the next move will occur ? I'm starting to wonder whether TheO has realized there's something going on.

Not that challenging.

I hope it all goes well. Two things: Be sure and take pictures (or better yet, video!). And if you can get the ring from the keeper, ask for any packaging... Kai and I have been talking and based on the 27th chapter of the codex, it may make sense to gather all the rings in one location (Kai will foot the bill for shipping, of course Wink

GOOD LUCK!

I chatted with James yesterday on facebook and he had similar concerns. He hasn't received any new voice mails concerning "La Sesa Ringo" in a week and a half. He thinks they might have picked up on something being wrong.

I assume that this picture (based on chapter 27 of the Codex) is the clue to "decrypt" the important final message. So we need from each ring the "yellow part" of the message.

BTW. Are ring #1 and ring #2 of the same size and is there a possibility to extract the yellow part?. I mean are the rings totally symmetric or is there a possibility to define the top of the ring or the connection to the other rings?

The Olympic athlete's muscles must align almost perfectly. What skill! What strength! It's wonderful!
