I decided it would be better to send in the cut-out. For the sake of 'realism'. But, not wanting to ruin the original, I scanned the page and then cut the add from that. I wrote my information on the back.
Which info?

I've read a number of times now, from some somewhat reliable sources that the next one is going to deal with clones of Hale being sent against the Chimera.

I've read that it's actually a team of soldiers, resistant to the virus like Hale, who have been gathered together from around the world to form a special task force. Which makes a much better plot.

Sony will display the game at E3 next week, so we may know more then.

Because Cassie is asked to psychologically "assess the remaining six candidates" in what is described as an "experiment", I imagine they aren't just guinea pigs in an attempt to find a cure. Super-soldiers seems most likely.

I think it's a little of both, but mostly the first one. Super-soldiers that will fall to the Chimera virus are useless, so the ability to resist the effects of the virus is essential. I think the cure was the first objective, but the effects may be a desired side-effect of the treatement... but if they were trying to make super-soldiers, the plot-twists will be HUGE.

I should have been more clear on that. I'm thinking along the same lines as you... that perhaps the first candidate became a human/chimera hybrid. Only I think this might have been the point of the experiment: a human/chimera hybrid that could maintain its human mind WOULD be a super-soldier. Resistant to full mutation, like Hale.

Then the experiment went poorly, they (almost) killed him, and he went out of control (the door-pounding at the end of video 2).

This might be a good time to point out that in the original game, Hale was infected during an attack in Europe. He awoke without turning Chimera (though picked up some of their characteristics), but no one knew why. Which is another reason I'm not certain he's involved here.

Sorry, new to this ARG and too tired t look through the pages I haven't yet, but has anyone tried to e-mail the address given in the Privacy Policy? If so, ignore this message. If not, then I have, just to see if it helps.

For everything really important to the game, you can just read the wiki in the first post, and there's not much there. The rest of the pages here are just speculation.

As for the email, it'll be interesting to see what you get back, but since the privacy policy is oog, I would think the email address will be too.

And welcome, btw.

No need for apologies Smile These forums exist so we can all help each other play along.

If you decide to cut the add out and write your info on it, like I did, be sure to put it in a stamped envelope before you drop it in the mailbox! Otherwise it's not going anywhere. Just send it to the address on the form.

The Game Informer cover hasn't been mentioned. That issue came out in February, though. It had an exclusive story on Resistance 2, but nothing related to this ARG. The August issue of GamePro is what kick started things.

Cool cover though:
