I remember i heard that song a looooooong time before GH3 came out (months, if not a year before) and as soon as the song was over i said "God that would make an amazing guitar hero song." To this day i wish i had never said such a thing, seeing as how that and Jordan from GH2 are the only two songs i can't beat on expert. Dammit.

oh, there are A LOT of songs i can't beat on expert. hahah. normally play vs a buddy and you can't get kicked out of the song that way. so i always end up finishing the songs, even if i get like 40% on it. haha.

Haven't gone back to GH3 in a while since i've been playing custom ones. Last i played I couldn't beat Metallica or Slayer on hard mode to get to the last song. might have to give that a try and see if it's possible now.

I'd rather never be good enough to beat Dragonforce on expert. hahah. I tried it for fun one time and almost fell over after the first 5 min.

I got stuck on Metallica cause that last solo is ridiculous. Those sweeps are insane. I can come closer to playing it on a real guitar than in the game. And I'm eternally lost on the Slayer track cause Kerry King's solo is completely random with no rythym at all. Haven't gotten to Satan yet, on hard mode anyways. beat the game on Medium just so i'd have all the songs.

Gonna have to get back to that game soon. Just downloaded the 80's game and the original. Haven't tried either yet. The original is stuck on my comp in a file type called MDF and I have no idea how to burn it. Trying to find a way to turn it into an ISO file. But I'm lazy so that might take a while. In the meantime I've been playing the Aerosmith game. It's actually a lot of fun. they leave out most of their gay songs, thank god the Armageddon song isn't in there. I don't know if i could play through that piece of shit.

Actually they ARE making a Metallica game. Supposed to be out late this year or early next. As long as they mainly keep with their earlier stuff it's gonna be amazing.

I'm not big on Aerosmith either, but recently I've been listening to their really old stuff and liking it a lot more than I thought. But by the 80's their shit went downhill big time. The early stuff is more fun than i thought to play on GH, but now i'm into the 80's and i put the game down for a while. haha.

the best part is the whole game isn't made up entirely of aerosmith songs. in every tier the first 2 songs are an opening band covering other songs, then aerosmith comes out for 2 and an encore, so they at least keep it interesting. i'm waiting for sex type thing by STP to come up soon since it's supposed to be in the game somewhere.

And besides, it's not like i bought the game. hahaha. gotta love piracy.

I doubt they'll stop at black album, we'll get some load songs for sure, but i can put up with those. most of those 2 albums were actually pretty good, they just sounded like a different, much softer band. but there were definitely a few shitty tracks on those ones.

agreed. i really don't think they'll include it. wondering who'll be the next band to get a game. if they're aiming for classic rock icons i would pray for Zeppelin or Sabbath. I could see a Sabbath game happening, but i doubt Zeppelin would go for it. they don't even allow their songs in movies.

ya, i've been saying that for a while. it sounds like a good idea in theory but all that would end up happening is they'd stick Iron Maiden next to Atreyu and shit. you know it'd go down like that. hahah.

i'm still good with my custom games in that respect, but most custom charts are written by freaks who play the game non stop and are extremely difficult. It's not even fun anymore when the entire song is sweeps and shit. I've loaded a lot of between the buried and me songs into those games and it's just way too hard most of the time.

oh, i remembered. i think the next game they're making after Metallica is Beatles. that'd be pretty sweet. dunno where'd they'd stick the big solos though. beatles aren't really all that challenging.

ya, like how the final song in co-op mode was by that band matchbook romance. gimme a fuckin break! i had to beat metallica and slayer to get to that!??! load of crap. though multiplayer was cool for letting me unlock 'Suck My Kiss'. that's easily one of the most funn tunes in the game.

a beatles game could be good i guess. there's a lot of songs worth putting in, but even more where they shouldn't. but they've got a huge catalogue. If they don't just stick to singles they could come up with a decent list.
