We have a unique opportunity for someone with ambitions in writing and acting. Our company is creating an alternate reality game (ARG) as a way of introducing people to our web site. This ARG is unique in that it ties in to video games and virtual realities that actually exist. It's mystery story about something that is happening currently, but instead of just telling the story after it happens, we are revealing it AS it happens by leaving a trail of clues across the Internet for people to find later. In this story we have a cast of characters to portray�that's where the acting comes in. All the characters in the ARG are developed via blogs, forums posts and various other documents on the Internet�that's where the writing comes in.

We have main a character we'd like played by actor/writer over the summer. We are looking for a man who looks somewhere between 30 and 50. This gig/assignment is a bit different than something in an actual theater. Basically whoever takes this job will assume the identy of the main characer for an hour or so a day for about 90 days. Mostly the character manifests himself via internet activities--that means writing in character, but there would be several opportunities for web cam performances for YouTube. We have a plot and have spent weeks setting the stage. Now we need someone who will bring this character to life.

Besides being an actor and a writer, you also will require some Internet savvy and the ability to connect new hardware, such as a Webcam to your computer. Access to a broadband is required. Game design and an eastern european accent a plus but not required.
