LOL I actually talked to the US tech support and they said the internal wiring is such that I'd need a power adapter box to convert the power load to avoid damaging the device. Anyway I contacted the person who contacted me about the prize and they were really nice and apologetic about sending me the wrong model and are trying to correct it. So its cool.

Hi all! Im new to this kind of game so please bear with me Smile
How do I know if I am the first one to solve a puzzle?

Im not sure but I think I solved the coffe-stainpuzzle as I got a link from it.
http://collect.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=music.showDetails&Band_Show_ID=32053538&friendid=54415408

Im not sure what to make of it... it has to do with sarah main as when klicking "back to profile" you come to her myspaceprofile.

I also solved the mappuzzle (as described earlier, but on my own) unfortunately I wasent the first to do so... Smile

Who agrees that the box in puzzle 3 looks like an usb stick? I guess that means the lost stick could be in Dortmund right now...

Also, another find I did yesterday (which I don't think anyone found out yet...)

When you go to the SPAI website, and click on the red text in the top-left corner, you see a scan of a note...

(old picture no-one cares about)

What/who is 'A.P.'? Who is 'JP'? What is 'the twelve'? I want to find out! ;(

Welcome, MKwiakaku!

Coffee stain was solved a long time ago, first by ineffabelle which is how she won her prize. The image above has been there for at least a couple weeks now. AP is Antonio Perleamo as welle found the site yesterday. JP is Elisabeth's co-worker at SPAI. As for the 12, I posted something awhile back, but I'd have to go back and remember what it was now.

USB stick is an interesting idea. It's been done before in the Year Zero ARG for Nine Inch Nails, so it's possible.

In my opinion "the twelve" mean the twelve ancient symbols in the pete tong-video on the white island mypace-site, where he asks for help to find elisabeth.

Heh, I must've missed that. I only joined the ARG yesterday, so please forgive me for posting old stuff (I hate it when somebody does that ;X).

AP being Antonio... duh of course. :')

But the only two co-workers at SPAI are James Haddow and JC Spaulding. Of course there have to be more employees, but no one is named 'JP', right? (or am I missing something again? XD)

Also, twelve symbols. So far there are only 5 known, right? The ones found in puzzle 3, and the curly thingie which is in TWI website logo.

Puzzle 2 actually has only 7 different symbols, by the way. The original set (4), the original but turned (same 4, so not counting those), and the original set mirrored (only 3 of those)...

 ?

alrighty well I just started with the white island yesterday, and like others I completed the first and third puzzle without help/trouble (I can't remember which one I solved first, pretty sure it was #1 and then #3 a few hours later)

anyways, I have a few questions, firstt off has anyone made any headway on number 2? and secondly what are these 12 symbols you speak of (I think I missed something Shocked )?

happy trails Razz

Ah, good catch on JP. Guess I just had it in my head it was one of the two co-workers. Not sure who it would be then.

And your symbol count looks right to me. I would hope that they aren't counting the different versions of the same symbol as a new symbol.

Yes that's a good sum up... however what should we make of the sound attached to each image? I've tried putting them in the order from puzzle 3 then then again all turned 90 degrees but I'm really REALLY at a loss and beyond frustrated! Bang Head

I'm more frusrtated with what I haven't seen :/ because I can only assume that the page that comes up when you solve puzzle one, has clues on it for puzzle 2, unfortunately it seems as though it was an events page which has since been removed, so therefor because of my late joining date it appears as though I am likely missing a big clue, maybe not though :/

anyone know what the page said? Confused

I tried a lot of those combinations last night too. With no luck so far. : (

With puzzle 3 you could trial-and-error your way out, as there were only 24 combinations, but puzzles 2 has like 50.000+ combinations? I'm not gonna bother to trial-and-error it. Not even for a CDJ-400. ;P

I'm just going to leave that one alone, and wait what happens this weekend in Dortmund (LoveParade festival, blahblah)...
