I guess new stuff only goes up by faction? There nothing new for warriors (except the emblem Grimoire).

On my Central page it says this at the bottom:

So i think yes, they are going up by faction. I had no maze opportunity so that is per group as well.

 		I haven't seen a maze yet for the provider faction, but there is a post up in the Planes of Battle forum that says:

"Battle 0: The Toothed Ford
A great river comes down to the mountains toward the estuary of the Institute of Knowledge. The river valley flattens out at one point, the water spreading over a large area, making a passable ford. It would obviously be a strategic position.

At the urging of my colleagues, I have decided to allow, er..."Chaos Rules" in this conflict. (I had to call them something!) You may allow your avatar to manifest complicated powers as you wish, but your participation in the thread will only ever add 1 "point" to your faction. At the end of the battle, the faction with the most points will be the winner.

Bear in mind that my colleague the Artist wishes to award bonus points to those who are "neat". I take this to mean that cleverness and, er, creativity will be rewarded. Your objective is to take control of the ford, defend it and circumvent or otherwise undermine your opponents' plans. Your weapon is your imagination, as channeled through your avatar. I'm sure each and every one of you will do your faction proud.

Also, bear in mind that this conflict will be decided (that is, concluded) at, according to your calendar, midnight Monday, July 21st. That is to say, "11:59 PM", also known as "23:59 PM" on the 21st. That is according to what you might call Eastern Daylight Time, UTC - 4 hours. Dear me, I hope that means more to you than it does to me.

So, with that said...Allez cuisine! What? I mean, begin!"
(I didn't think that this needed a spoiler curtain, but if it does, please let me know and I will be happy to provide)

So, fellow Providers, lets get some more posts up for this battle and see what we can come up with! Smile

 		Other than the fact that I'm a "Researcher" (no surprise there, to be honest), I have no idea what this is all about.

Oh and I finished the "Daily Maze" (wonder where they got *that* concept...).

This is purely speculation at this point as I really don't have any better information than you right now but I assume that this is starting out as some kind of 'group fiction' where the plot is advanced by the chapters/posts of the players.

He is obviously laying out the world as it is at the onset of the battle, giving us a loose idea of what we are working with. Strange how much this seems like the exercises I worked through with beginner roleplayers back in the day to get them ready to actually play in a real game. I found often that guided fiction was the easiest way to give inexperienced players a little freedom at a time until they learned to respect the 'unspoken' rules of the game.

Basically this one is a free for all...no rules regarding what when or how you do things, feels like they will be imposing some restrictions in the future scenarios but they want us to enjoy this one. For right now i don't think we can do much other than form a personality for our IG characters and enjoy bashing the other factions with our fantasticly made up abilities.

As I said this is all pure speculation at this point. I can say that I am really enjoying the freedom of this game so far, hopefully this evolves into something spectacular when the game gets rolling.
