Re: more info on the map locations in order with information vapor.
exactly most are fake and i am toying with all are red herrings
but here is a thought that came to me
consider times are not times but miles
there are 8 airport codes on the map and 8 coords + info
the airports dont match the places the coords go to like where you might fly into to go to the coord. some might but most are too far away
so using a different thinking
possibly using the miles given we are suposed to find what airport he flew into on a date given by using the miles the airport is from the coords roughly of course (does that make any sense)? see the 800 got me thinking it has to be miles not time.
anyway using that method you can possible draw a travle line on the map
that goes from airport to airport by date then see if the lines do anything to the overlayed punch card mabey it will offer a pattern we can use..
after work i will play with it if i see anything i will add it . good luck

I reccomend looking at the coords in Goole Earth. I would save a virtual tour and post it here, but I haven't the foggiest how to do that in Google Earth.

Re: The Data Hey Vapor and Sowasred,
Have you guys been able to input the data successfully? I've tried various forms of "Get Map 752", but nothing has worked. What did you guys enter?

The meta blog page that firefrog pasted talked about "a teen newspaper" and a product that launches in late July. I hope we aren't reaching the end of the game.
ETA: There is a link in the contest section of the official site to win gaming hours at a place calle The Node if you write an essay (open to AB and BC HS students only). I think the gig is up.

Try lower case letters and try clicking on the button instead of just hitting Enter

Here is an other site that lists something of interest, it also gives an address in calgary (which could be the address we are ment to find at the end)

Oy vey... if I had to guess I'd say we weren't meant to find that yet...

Thanks, Vapor.
Any word on how the map factors in to the next mission, perhaps?

That is interesting. Wonder when that will become active.
So I emailed Richard and Neflyte with some thoughts. I will post if I get anything.
Also, here are the numbers from the punchard that are darkened when overlayed on the map
Code:
12 24 75 6 76 9 14 74
32 76 9 55 30 ---- 73 81
41 62 33 75 37 57 --- 72 12 1
57 1 7 88 12 54 96 34 - 20 30 75 9
75 67 21 14 45 89 9 78 1 40 6 23 19
1 55 60 85 6 70 24 61 80 22 69 41 6
48 21 87 25 90 16 6 84 24 63 38
16 82 48 1 24 55 84 19 22

Looks like people are using dimension.pdf to overlay. Anyone tried punchey.pdf?

I did.
Here's the numbers that are darkened by the map when overlayed
Code:
91 43 69 57 20 84 70 65
65 75 6 34 75 23 - - - - 44 45
48 21 87 25 90 16 6 - - - 38 6 60
75 67 4 14 45 89 55 60 20 - 6 22 64 79
6 83 21 80 21 17 46 33 45 79 50 11
12 46 97 50 20 16 82 61 9 22 26 41 6
41 62 33 75 37 97 57 96 65 89 79
24 75 22 76 48 14 74 22 88
No closer to figuring it out than overlaying dimension.pdf
Edit to clean up sloppy-ish code

FWIW, here is a comparison overlay of the 2 punchcards. The red punchcard is the first one (dimension.pdf) and the black one is the second (punchey.pdf). It looks like a lot of the numbers from the first are recycled in the second. Just a time saver on the part of the PMs or kloo? You be the judge.
