After two days of this I'm about all questioned out Confused

I'll report back when I get my final responses. Comic-Con is going to occupy most of my time for the remainder of the week, but if I come up with any relevant theories I'll lay them out for everyone to mull over.

Yup. I assume that it basically was nothing but a method for the PMs to say " Get your questions in by now".

Or they're busy, and will update the site later Wink

Updated with new code.

I tried to decrypt for a while, but now it is time for my hour-an-a-half commute home.

Don't download the internet or anything while I'm gone.

Well, it's no longer relevant, but I asked this question below.

Quote:

Q: Does Japan have some significance in this web of riddles?
A: No.

"Stop, Watch, Listen" is a song by Hill Kim.

http://www.lyricstime.com/hill-kim-stop-watch-and-listen-lyrics.html

Also, I found a site called http://www.anomolies.com/default.php. It was modified last on July 22nd.

Confused

Don't worry, there's plenty of internets to go around.

Ugh, decryption... after hours spent on base conversions, then conversions of those conversions, then decryptions of THOSE conversions, I'm over the numbers for the moment.

I checked whois, and it's not consistent. Was registered back in 2001.

Funny, I read that as "...is a song by Kill Him". Probably intentional by the artist.

Is it down now? <- I see the problem. Probably OOG based on whois anyway. Dunno

Here are the answers to my final questions...

13 wrote:
Q:The "Summer Sun Rises" in the northeast; should we be looking in this region of San Francisco?
A: No.

Q: "Reopening Liberty"... why was "Liberty" closed?
A: Greed.

Q: "Independence Gained"... who's independence is this a reference to?
A:The general public's.

Q: Are the "Highlights" in San Francisco a reference to actual "lights"?
A: No.

Q: In all, how many "pieces" of John will need to be found?
A: Depends on what you mean by 'pieces'.

Q: What are the Unix Nations?
A: The homefront.

Q: Aside from helping rebuild, what other role did this "Condestine" play?
A: A leader, which is now made an ironic mockery.

And finally-

Quote:
Me: The countdown draws to an end, and the only thing I have left to say is:

We will prevail.

13: I pray so. If not, both you and I will soon awaken to no sun, no moon, and no air.

We will perish.

Didn't see this posted before. 13lights has this below the numbers - "Remember your thirteens."

Ha ha. How could we forget. So...umm...thirteens is plural. Even though I have tried it before, anyone think it means a base13/ROT13 combo?

I asked about this, and was told it wasn't relevant.

It wasn't... that line was just added.

I do think it's double-encoded. I thought about beginning base-13 conversions again, but the idea made my head spin.

ETA Strike that. Base13 give us non-alphanumeric characters and therefore cannot be ROT13'd. I knew there was a reason that didn't work.

Remember your thirteens.

My last question.

Quote:
Q. You said to look at the highlights... Do you mean the highlights in the video?

A. Maybe bold would've been a better word.

ETA: The only bold I remember was the 13 in the hex strings. Someone check me on that? I'll also point out that those were busted up into pairs, 16 to a line, =32 digits (plus the headers). These have 24 digits, not broken. That would give us 12 number pairs, but... I'm Dunce'd again.

ETA2:
Quote:
Q:The "Summer Sun Rises" in the northeast; should we be looking in this region of San Francisco?
A: No.
Well that's one quadrant down, anyway.

Do we have any clues thus far that are in bold print?
