My only friend is my current enemy. They are the one we must stop. I need an army. What can I do. I am just the messenger.

Is he talking about his myspace friends? The only one he has is the dead guy, Todd and everybody's friend, Tom. I'm not familiar with KoL, so I couldn't comment on any friends he may have there.

At last help has arrived.

People are now reading this which means that I can start helping again. The big question seems to be who is Todd Glassman. Well two years ago I opened the Message Center to help people. The first case was named The Room of Doom. In this sick game 8 people were locked in a room, and they slowly were forced to kill each other. The twist being that one of the 8 people was the person who locked them all in there. If they killed the person who locked them in there they would be set free. That person was Todd Glassman. In the end only two people survived. It seems it will all happen again. I need your help. Maybe this time we can save more.

Then Todd Glassman isn't dead.

Just to be sure I asked the messenger a few questions:
Quote:
1. If Todd Glassman is alive, why does his page say Gone but Not Forgotten?
2. If there was an old website your service was at, why did you have to move it? Was it because Todd saw your face?
3. If so, were you the one who saved the survivor(s)?

Waiting on the answers.

Not true, if 2 people survived, then Todd Glassman had to die in order for them to survive. Otherwise, it would have continued to the last man standing.

Call me stupid. Oh well.
The messenger's response:
Quote:
Oh Todd is dead. He died in the room. Eric and Barry made it out alive, they saved themselves when they killed Todd. As for the old site, I had to leave it behind. I was in danger and I ran. I know I was a coward, but I know I'm no hero. You should be able to find the site with some digging.

So we have too more names, Eric and Barry, and a clue that the old website should still be up and running.

Just heard back from GoneButNotForgotten:

Quote:
You must know Todd Glassman for us to continue. You have played his game before, now I must take up his work.

To which I replied,

Quote:
Wait, what? I don't remember ever playing any kind of game with a guy named Todd Glassman.

Now Jacob Kane, that's another matter entirely.

There's a Todd Glassman here, but I think it's unrelated.

Yeah, I googled "Todd Glassman", and came up with that guy, several doctors, and (I think) a photographer.

Same here. I also googled Room of Doom, came up with a website that lets people display their videogame collections. You can find it at videogamecollectors.com
Googling it again brings up a Flickr photo protesting legwaxing and a band on Myspace as well, none of which appear related at a glance.

Reply from "Todd Glassman":

I am not Todd Glassman, I just do his work. And never call him crazy. He is an artist that was just not understood.

At last! A savior. You can't help Todd Glassman, he is dead, and he is not my friend. I'll give you all the info I can in my blog soon.

So we're looking for "The Messenger"'s blog.

Ok

The site says

Glassman was born in 66 and died in 06

His age is stated as 49 but that means he was 40 when he died... as of 2008 he would be 42 NOT 49 as listed...

Did anybody else notice the misspelling on Todd's tombstone:

"Gone But Not For_otten"

I wonder if they left the "G" out on purpose?

Also, I feel dumb. I just now noticed that myspace has a blog feature. Am I the only one who hasn't read "Messenger"s blog entries yet?

The Bearded Clan, as I recall.
