Surprised I actually thought the same thing. I'm a rather paranoid person. I take therapy. Very Happy

Reading Ethan's blog again, I find it weird he doesn't even mention Tyler. Also no mention on his Facebook. I have a feeling that photo of Ethan and Tyler together will become very important.

The LINKEDIN site is what scared me. I deleted my account there. I had four requests for links to me...everything from a guy I went to high school with who now sells something akin to Amway, to another Production company wanting to steal me away from Irene's fake one, to a stalker ex-boyfriend, and a spammer. SHOULD NOT HAVE USED MY REAL NAME. Heh. It's gone now though....however, not quick enough. Let me expand that thought.

I don't know if any of you use background check companies/software, but I do for some occasional side work I do--skip tracing. I now erroneously appear on one of those databases as a past employee of both SecureID and UNF Promotions. And I was only a LINKEDIN member for a week.

It's one thing to use your personal info for something like Facebook or MySpace, but quite another for something like LINKEDIN. Luckily I have the info to be able to have that changed, but when I think about the repercussions it could have for some....images of the IRS and unreported income? LOL!!!!

I'm in the US military. My position and experience has always been to use a nom de plume when I do anything for a game. It's just good practice. Further, there is always the possibility that, under the guise of a game, someone really is attempting ID Theft.

Has someone downloaded the image of Tyler and Ethan before it gets DELETED? I have a feeling that once she looses her memory her myspace and facebook accounts are just going to vanish so it might be worth downloading copies of them as well. We've already got a copy of her song which is conclusive proof that she sang songs even if she won't remember.

I agree. I nom de plume (or nom de guerre as it were) is essential. Mostly because I don't want people I work or study with to google me and figure out my interests.
All they will find this way is Sherlock Holmes fictional love interest.

I have no one trying to spam me on LinkedIn though. Ha ha, could be the link to Unfiction I have on the fake website. Just so people get that maybe we aren't REALLY in the business of giving millions to fake businesses.

I did download the pic of Tyler and Ethan. Its very much at the bandshell in Prospect Park. Awwww....cute. If those jackasses got Bob Dylan tickets there and I didn't, I'm going to be fairly upset. What do we have? Less than a month to launch?

Between Space Monkeys and this game I've been thinking that an "game" would be a perfect venue to collect data for identity theft.

It seems to me that when you are in a stand still in an ARG, they find ways to get you moving..when they want you too..

Is it my browser or did Zach's photo disappear from the Secure ID Guard website?

Hey, Tyler came online and read one of my messages, but not the other one. Perhaps she got so many messages from so many people she didn't get to the older ones? I was really hoping for a breakthrough with that one.

PS Hey McGritts! I remember you! Cool that it's you.
