I'm guessing that sketch is the passphrase.

I'd love to be able to meet at a dead drop some time. I probably could actually make it to Jollyville on 8/1. My camping trip doesn't really start until later that evening. May be a good excuse to hang out in Austin for a while.

Jollyville? Cool. (had to look it up, thought it was slang) Sounds like a happy place for a dead drop!

I checked the three maps and according to them, the drop will be at three different times in 'Jollyville', once on July 20th at 18:00, once on August 1st at 10:15 and once on August 10th at 8:00... seems a bit extreme - but as I laid out the three maps to look at your three drops, I think I've realized something, there must be a common thread in the three maps. I can see lots of common elements just not sure if they are relevant or not. They don't seem to be on the surface.

Don't know if it's relevant anymore, but in regards to the overlayed punchcards, I sent Richard a message on Facebook:

Quote:
Richard,
Do the two punch cards go with one another? Or do they each go in the same place?

Agent GrayShine

Richard responded:

Quote:
GrayShine,

You will need both to find me, they each tell a different tale - time is of the essence.

RR

EDIT: on the Facebook front, Richard's status now reads "Richard Rhoale
still loves takhallus.podzone.org!"

And he's added work info:

Quote:
Work Info
Employer:
The Organization
Position:
Liaison Officer
Description:
I've been with the Organization for a while now. Great travel opportunities. Working for the Organization is rewarding.

Minor edit: I also like how Richard lists "bees" in his interests, as in, "richard likes bees." or "I like bees." Little meta-humour, anyone?

I wonder if we need to find a thrid punchcard.

Jollyville is not looking likely. I thought only the position of the date/time/locations were switched. I didn't realize everything had shifted.

Sent another email to Richard asking some leading questions but he has not even responded to my last one yet.

Well it's about time they got a liaison officer. I hop he lives up to the title. I have been searching for a 3rd card since it seems we now need a third card. It makes sense that it should be on the takhallus page.

It sounds like there are only two cards - at least I hope there are only two or I've wasted the past 2 hours on this: the punch cards have been laid over the maps in various configurations (each punch card over each map) using the number on the top of the site as the numbers to punch out. We're looking for similarities. It's not a complete solution yet, but I honestly believe we're getting there.

The fact that he still loves takhallus.podzone.org makes me think there is more there. I just can't find anything.

Who doesn't!?!

I have looked for a third one, too, and see nothing out of the ordinary. I'm of the mind that he updated his status to alert friends of changes to his profile - although, profile changes are reported in one's mini-feed, right?

I just think if he was asked straight out about the two and he purposely responded that 'both' are needed, without eluding to a third would not be helpful at all. Of course, his sense of judgment may be lacking, based on his taste in web sites. Very Happy

So I guess there's not another card. I sent him another message:

Quote:
Both? Does that mean there's two or that we should keep looking for more?

Do we have what we need to finish, or at least get to the next stage of the mission?

-Gray

His response?

Quote:
GrayShine,

Everyone knows that three's a crowd. You have what you need and you need what you have.

RR

Maybe there's something else that we "have" that we need. Information/knowledge of previous missions included with the punchcards?

*End spec*

Okay, double post, but this is VERY important.

There's a new youtube video up from the 6n6o3d3e account (Not Richard's.) called converge_node.

It's got a link to a picture: http://experiencethenode.com/knock_knock/ with only "Im expecting a call." on it.

The video flashes the node symbol, the limo on Richard's Facebook, the date 07.26.08, the time 11:00 AM, a Map of Calgary pointing to the Southern Alberta Inst. of Tech, the coords 51degrees 3'47.75" N 114 degrees 5'36.81" W, the text "Search the Earth", then the node symbol again.

My guess? This is a very. Big. Clue.

EDIT 'cause I forgot the link: http://youtube.com/watch?v=Dy14Al7DzpE

Edited date. Yeah, time travel would not make much sense, thanks Shibbles.

07.26.08 is the date flashed on the video, not 07.16.08...

New status update on Richard's facebook

Richard Rhoale wrote:
Richard looks forward to Saturday, near the Mountains in the Daylight - have you got the Time?

I'm sure this refers to Mountain Daylight Time = GMT-6.

So he will be at Southern Alberta Inst of Tech on Sat, 7.26.08 at 11:00 MDT. Probably in a white limousine with a node symbol. Bring your "loyalty" with you.

Where are our Alberta folks?

Map Coordinates

Been out for a few days and I have to read the rest of the replies, but I did map the locations in Google Maps and I think that this link will take everyone to a shared version. Don't know if it helps though. Some of the coordinates are not exactly on the locations they are supposed to represent.

Sorry for the repost - used an email name instead of forum name Embarassed

FWIW. Ailanthus' map is the one in the video.
