 		Well, another update on Silica's blog with more detail, we can give orders to the Homunculi now, and Fenrir and Dimona are still doing fine.

Anyway, the logs are attached, and in brief, Fenrir is going to try and launch a sneak attack on the marked area on the map (D9) with the help of our Homunculi.

A couple small imps he had as foot soldiers or meatshields also perished with the same shot, a good figure because demons are notoriously hard to kill without magical weapons. We haven't done so well with demons in close-quarters scenarios in the past, so the more we can take down in the first volleys, the less we have to face from them after some of our positions are revealed. The most high profile weapon used in this experiment worked grimly well, I dare say the destruction it causes gives the demons a little taste of their own medicine. The demon lord at the heart of the convoy we ambushed fell to the new machine with ease. It was difficult to find enough pieces of him to prove the mission successful to HQ.


Laika tested her new rifle in battle for the first time. She quickly dropped several "officers" within the first few minutes of combat. She kills so efficiently that it's hard to notice when an enemy soldier goes down. At one point the pack of wolf-demons the convoy had (for protection against us, and probably demon-slayers) caught wind of Laika and headed toward the tree she was hiding on. I watched in horror unable to help, but alas, my fear was unfounded. She killed every last one.

Kaita is doing well according to her last letter. She is working to expand the submarine fleet now, in order to build a larger unseen military presence in the oceans. Which reminds me, I need to get back to work on the heavy submersible battlecruiser I promised her. I also need to put the finishing touches on the afor-mentioned gymbaled cannon so Kaita can begin to retrofit her destroyers.


Laika is off to the Moonlight Isles on an assignment from HQ. She complains that recon missions are demeaning, and that she doesn't get to apply her real skills unless she's sent for assassinations, skirmishes, etc. but oh well. She says her target is a high official within the Kakana Army, so this must be important. She's not allowed to tell me any names, but her target apparently commonly wears a pink dress a lot..... (Dimona's note: That's me. I have a sort of reputation for being the only ninja dumb enough to occasionally go out in a bright pink dress... And get away with it XD) sounds familiar to me, but I can't quite place the connection. Oh well, I have to stop for today, that battlecruiser won't design itself.

I can't find the whole thing (Seriously... Would YOU want to keep a death threat someone sent you?) But, the general gist of it was "Oh, we're not bad guys. We're just doing the world a favor by killing all the magic people so it'll be more fair for people who aren't good at magic" yadda yadda yadda... Pulls off that bullshit for a bit... And then it said they'd hunt us down and kill us if I told anyone about them.



Kinda too late for that, I guess, but... I'm not scared of these guys XD

 		I was hoping so much to post it, oh well... On another note, the map has been been updated, whoever has 58, 59, 60 has to move their troops south NOW! That goes for 67,68, and 69 too. The latter homoculi team will need to move east.

More or less, there's being a trial called by the elves, as some of their people were killed in the battle, and they believe that Fenrir, Dimona, and Silica are in league with the anti-magics now.

Yeah I just got that and a second message that decodes to : TO ALL FRIENDLIES: STARKIN REQUESTS THAT ALL FRIENDLIES MOVE AWAY FROM ELVISH TROOPS RAPIDLY, QUIETLY, AND OUT OF SIGHT.

I'm really confused. Starkin is someone I've seen hanging out in #eternity and #fenrirchat on irc... ???

ETA: I forwared the messages to Fenrir, Dimona, and Silica asking for confirmation of its validity and just got this back from Silica...

 		Just to clear everything up, the court case seems to have been canceled. Still, I wouldn't try to be seen, something doesn't feel right about the elves. I stick by my message about no salvaging of the wreckage, If we looted their ship, wouldn't be good for relations. Found out about the case being canceled through comptech, so I don't think there is going to be a liveblog. So everybody, just a suggestion from me, sounds like a good idea, just keep out-of-sight and quiet so the elves don't hear you. That's my two cents. If anybody has any better ideas, just tell.

It wasn't canceled according to silica's latest blog post...and now they're at war with the elves. Should have salvaged that ship when we had the chance Razz

Just to clear everything up a little futher... a little birdie told me that we can ask our homunculi to relay a message to all other homunculi. Which is what Starkin did. Cool beans.

Alright. If anyone's going to be at comic-con tomorrow at noon, here's your instructions:

Start in the hall where badge pickup is, second floor. Move towards the sign that says "Ballroom 6." Once you reach that sign, take a left, and make the first right you can. You should be walking down a hallway full of meeting rooms. Walk to the end, turn left. You should be walking down a small hallway with another left turn at the end, and a really nice view of the ocean. Take that left. Your contact is a guy around my age. Most of us weren't allowed to explicitly tell people other realities are out there.

Well, the old law was something the elves kinda forced us into.
And, one day, Silica's dad just decided "You know what? F*** them." and dropped the law.
It was probably more, um... elegant than that, though XD
But, you get the idea.

Fenrir: Ah, the elves are always pissed at someone. That's just how they are.
