Gone But Not Forgotten has updated his friends list. Check it out. They are all "Contestant [number]". He also has a new person, "waitress", on his friends.

"waitress" seems to be a page for a ton of ads for "www.silverladder.com", another ARG I've seen discussed here. All of these new "contestants" have different ages, genders and zodiac signs. All of them are single. All of them have only two friends: The famous Tom, and Gone But Not Forgotten. No info at all is on any of their pages, except for Contestant Two, who has their height listed as 0' 0".

EDIT: how could I miss this? All of their locations are listed as BEVERLY HILLS, California. Same as The Messenger and Gone But Not Forgotten. However, waitress is located in Phoenix, Arizona.

EDIT TWO: Man, I'm letting a lot slip past me today. Gone But Not Forgotten has posted something in his blog, but it is dated July 19th. I'm not a MySpace user - can you make blog dates back track when you post them?

Anyway, according to the blog, Gone But Not Forgotten is starting the new "game" (I'm assuming it's the "sick game" that was mentioned by the messenger). He's doing 10 people in the game instead of 8. I also noticed one glaring mistake that may or may not be a typo:

Other than the other game, there is no info.
For my first run at playing a game, this one's poorly conceived. He's either flat out given us the answer (the previous game) or he's being unnecessarily vague and sabotaging his own game. Either way, I'm out of this one.

I must admit that I, too, am rather bored with this particular ARG - it's rather slow (who am I kidding? It's EXTREMELY slow) and the puzzles... well, aren't puzzles, this is the first thing we've had to do except click around a dozen different MySpace pages. A mission giving us an entire month to "prove to me that you know what Todd Glassman did"? Come on.

I'll still check for more info, though, later. But I'm not going to bust my ass to find answers.

So, is this a completely singular ARG? Or, are we to assume this is a continuation of one which was played out previously which nobody seems to remember??

If you look at the old page of "The Messenger" it looks like someone writing on a stock chart (Buy etc) - I've just come across a blog called BULLy the BEAR - As some ppl might know Bulls & Bears is Stock-Market slang of some kind... Anyway on that blog mentions a book called "The Market Guru" which is by John Reese & Todd Glassman.

HUGE Shot in the dark but anyone think it could be related?

Edit: Also added their AIM Screen Names and something I've observed already which could be nothing... But both Jake and Katie's AIM names are like TrappedKatie / TrappedJake etc.

Mary Ritz' happens to be just MaryInTheRoom - As though she isn't trapped.

I'm probably just reaching but thought I'd better suspect the cop first, cos no-one else ever does!

EDIT:

I tried sending messages to all three of them over AIM, all of them got an error message: "refused by client". Huh. I've also sent e-mails to everyone, and they haven't bounced back - here's to hoping that they actually answer.
