I like this design a LOT!!!! Now, some obvious changes have to be done that need local insight but in general your design has improved the route greatly. I'm also a great fan of increasing the strenght, even if I don't know too much about the meaning of it...hehe.
Well, I'll get around to checking it out tomorrow afternoon. I'm off for a hike now. Gonna start really late, it's the longest day of the year and with the good weather and all... well, a beautiful day at the mountains.
Thanks guys for your warm welcomes. I'll do my best to make this happen.
Over and out 'till tomorrow.

I'm back on the thread.
There are very slight changes that I'll have to do. Apart from that the track is in fact quite insightful and nice.
The only significant change is the enpoint in the middle. It's smaller than you'd suspect so I'd prefer rounding off one circle and having it end in FRONT of the church instead of in the back. I'll get to it today to make the track I hope.
So, apart from that.. what opinion do people have of the track?

Two suggestions:
(1) Concerning the bottom part of the outer circuit: Try to walk a bit across the parking lot there, to keep the distance to the next circuit as even as possible.
(2) Dito for the south corner of the three inner circuits (those closest to the church).

Halló Þórgnýr,
what's the latest news about the Reykjavík labyrinth? Has Eli approved your design? Have you already ordered (and received) a trackstick from Kai? Reykjavik appears to be a really, really important piece in the puzzle, and it would be great to hear positive news about your progress!
Best,

Sorry I'm late Revised suggestion Hi guys,
here's a revised edition of the latest suggestion. Modified a little for the purpose of better views. Anyways. If you don't have any major problems with it I shall submit it and order a trackstick on Tuesday.

WELCOME BACK! It's wonderful to have you back onboard again. The design looks really good, and even if Eli has some minor points to criticise, it will be no problem at all to do some minor final polishes. (Maybe he'll have to say something concerning the two outermost and innermost circles - the outer ones almost seem to touch in one place, the inner ones are very close to each other - but if I were you, I'd simply argue that in the run itself, those problems won't be problems anymore. Because you'll keep the circuits nicely separated!)
Why wait until Tuesday with ordering a trackstick? Do it right now, the earlier, the better. We are seriously running out of time now, and one trackstick safely arrived is one trackstick we need not worry about anymore ...

As you guys said Eli DID comment on the not-so systematic arrangements of the circles and I gave it a little thought, I can quite easicly arrange it better. So I'll fi it and send him again. However, he quite liked it it seemed.
Also sent Kai a message and he's sending me trackstick already. So very soon I've got no excuse to bail out on you guys.
Anyways, now that I know what I AM doing... what are other gonna do? Come to Iceland and run the track? At the very least I am going to go it by foot. Yeah.

I guess the chances that one of our community makes a quick trip to Iceland to join you are rather small, even though we'd love to do the labyrinth with you and get to see Reykjavik! But maybe you can recruit some friends and supporters along the way? Make a t-shirt with a labyrinth and "I AM SAVING THE MULTIVERSE - JOIN ME!" on it, people might stop and ask if you need help (or offer you a ride to the next psychiatric ward ). Take LOTS of photos - of yourself, the trackstick, people helping you, the sights you're passing ... Make an impressive collage or simply gather as many impressions as possible along your way and send a gorgeous labyrinth report to Eli and Alex/Ariadne - she seems to enjoy these reports very much.
Have fun with a gorgeous omphalabyrinth!

Hmm, I got into this by strange means, so strange in fact that I don't even know what this is all about! I guess I'll have to read some stuff as I finish the maze. Could I expect people to come do the maze from time to time in the future? That would be cool.
Anywhow, I will be doing this by foot. Long way though. Maybe I'll recruit a friend or two for a weird picnic in Reykjavik. Will take loads of photos. Someone sent me an email lately telling me to arrange some photos, so I will. Perhaps one round this summer and another for this winter.
