With Con now over, after five days of staring at these signs EVERYWHERE, I can finally sit down and participate Smile

As some of you have noted, this is likely to be huge and well produced. A lot of money was spent to advertise this all over the convention center (pictures below).

The protest that readyfuels mentioned was great. They were really into it. The signs had imagery similar to that on the other marketing we've already seen. Sadly, my camera's battery was dead, so I didn't catch any pictures. I asked them briefly what they were up to, and they said something about fighting for the rights of non-humans, but because I'd had a few beers already I wasn't totally focused on the situation...

However, today I was sharp enough to "acquire" a few of the bathroom signs as the convention came to a close Shifty Eyes

Since this basically launched Wednesday night, as Comic-Con opened, I too expect we'll have a bit of an "attract players" period to wait through. But from the looks of it, the wait will be worth it.

EDIT: Aside from a few spelling errors, some of the hotspots on the map that should bring up news stories don't seem to work for me and crash my map.

Anyone else see news update mentioning an upcoming event called "breach day". Also does anyone remember if there was a specific date mentioned for the non human evacuation msg or has it always said tomorrow. These could be possible update days.

breach day is when they release new technology. the countdown on the MNU main page is for that date.. sometime in august of next year

While many of the posts on the blog seem to be from tertiary (peanut gallery) entities, a lot of them make me feel like we're going to be seeing much more of some of these individuals.

Is it too early to start creating a who's-who resource.?
I'm leery to because this is also the kind of resource, appearing early on, that disappears into obscurity in many games, not long after launch.
