So, I got this email:

Smells like a trailhead to me. Unfortunately, I don't have much time to work on an ARG at the present, so anyone else who wants to can get to work on this.

 		That was the first thing I thought of, but I looked it up and in Hellboy it's called the Bureau of Paranormal Research and Defense. I'm pretty sure they'd get the name right if it were a Hellboy ARG, so that'd be a no go.

 		Wonder if it's related to the new x-files movie I want to Believe that came out a couple of days ago.

There is a reference to I Want to Believe in the blog with a quote from Fox Moulder. The first blog also mentions Fallen Angel, which is also connected to X-FIles http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fallen_Angel_(The_X-Files)

It would be really cool if it was X-Files.

His last entry (today) is 6 days after he reported people outside his apartment building, taking people for questioning.

searching google blog for "parkersvortex" leads to this LJ user xmissmaydayx with one entry

The link is in his blogspot as well. There are three other LJs in the same grouping. None seem to lead anywhere.

Edit: I apologize if I'm sounding negative or defeatist here; that isn't my goal. But if this is an ARG, it seems to be brand squeaky new, and without a lot of details available yet

 		Here's my conversation with Parker. I'm going to bold the parts that I feel are important, but I still suggest you read the entire thing in case there's something I missed.

So we now have Miles's email address, we know a little more about this Maria (boy does she sound like a barrel of laughs!) and I held back on making the Captain America joke! Laughing In all seriousness, this has been somewhat informative. I left a comment on Dreix's LJ, which you can find here. He's also replied, and I've just replied to him. I'm also going to shoot some email to Miles and see what I can find out about Maria.

Son of EDIT: I've also now had some contact from Miles. Here's what I've got so far.

I have Yahoo, so I had no idea I received a reply from Miles while typing this. I didn't receive his reply until I had already sent that message to the DPR.

Meanwhile, in talking with Dreix, I've pieced together a picture of what happened at the Starbucks. Parker approached him, eager to talk about being put into custody. He said he was helping the DPR with something. Afterwards, he left, turned the corner, and Dreix didn't see him any more after that. The theory the residents of 4a have is that Maria was involved with his memory troubles, and Dreix suggests that she might have been out on the street. If she was, she was likely around the corner. I also asked him about Addison, and he said she's the youngest member of a DPR squad. She and Miles do the check ups on them.
