Re: [Email] Aug 13 Email from Dana

Here's what I sent, and what I got back (minus Dana's e-mail to ladybee777):

Dana:

If you have time, I've got a quick question. On your weblog, you
posted the original, uncorrupted versions of several of the pages from
ilovebees.com. Would you happen to have an original version of
contactme.html (reached through links.html, the "Fun Stuff" page)?
Some of us were wondering whether the green "problem quite
interesting" text was there originally. We figure it probably wasn't,
but I'd love to find out for sure. Thanks!

Hi Shad0,
yeah, that "problem quite interesting" was definitely not on Aunt M's
site before the takeover. hope that information helps...
by the way, I wanted to let you know that I finally wrote to the
ladybee entity, who wanted me "being persauded to come back." Full
text below, I hope it does the trick.

Dana: a little guarded

Here's what Dana sent me....

Quote:
Hi Drizjr,
I know exactly what you mean about not being sure we can trust the
ladybee emailer yet. I mean, I really DO want to trust it/her (an
ally on the inside would really help, don't you think?) ... but just
awaiting confirmation of some kind that the Sleeping Princess a
friend, not a trickster.
So: I did finally write the Sleeping Princess... what I sent is below.
As you can see, it's a little guarded. I really appreciate your
advice on this matter...
-d.

Followed by the same content as everyone else received.
"Trickster" was her choice of word, I didn't mention it in my email.

Sorry that this is a little late in coming, but we just went through a hurricane here so I was a little busy Wink

Here is Dana's reply to an e-mail of mine:

Hi Zac,
I like your grand pa's saying... makes a lot of sense in this case.
Thanks for telling me about your efforts to get more lucid emails
(yes! I agree, that would be great!) from the sleeping princess
entity. Since you were so helpful about updating me on that, I wanted
to let you know that I finally emailed the ladybee account to try to
make contact. Here's what I sent (text below), I hope it helps.
keep in touch, okay?
-d.

Dear Sleeping Princess,

My friends tell me that you would like me to come back.
I'm here.
By here, I mean online. On a computer, on email, like you.
But I'm not in San Francisco. I'm not "home."
You say you can protect me. But I don't understand how.
So I am going to stay here, which is far away.

Are we really Best Friends?
Best friends share secrets.
If the secret you found can help me and my other friends, please show us.

Love,
Dana

Hello Dana,
It's good to see you've returned to the problem at hand. It means
alot to us. It means that getting involved in this has been worth the
risks. It shows strength of spirit. Besides, if you run from your
problems you're usually just giving them an excuse to chase you. Wink

I'm sure the others have updated you by now as to the progress
we've made. Some of the things coming out of that site and your
aunts e-mail are truely arcane. Not to mention pretty disturbing. If
you think you're missing something just ask, and we'll tell you what
we've come up with. I mostly say us because with all of the attention
you're getting I don't expect you to e-mail me back. Your box is
probably bursting. No worries though. We should try and figure out
someway to filter your blog. Takes all kind I guess, but some of those
people seem three sheets to the wind.

I know your hands are pretty tied from where you are at, so I'd
stick with everyones advice about our sleeping beauty, and keep her
talking. We're trying to "feed" whatever it is as many songs &
literary references as we can, in the hopes that will help it's
messages become more coherent. We could be wasting bandwidth, but
we've not discovered much else to go on. Besides even a little more
lucidity on her part would be a welcome improvement. Wink

Just keep in mind that even though your hands may be bound, you're new
friends are legion. And as my grand pa used to say: Many hands make
light work.

Take Care,
-Zac 0(_)+

...So nothing really new here except the personalized portion. I also recieved the last e-mail from the SP. It was exactly the same as the rest.

Now I have to go and clean up storm debris. Wink

I've emailed Dana twice now, (From Hotmail, so I don't have a copy of the sent messages.. idiot forgot to hit the save check box), and did not receive any responses.

I've also sent 2 emails to ladybee777, I did not receive the first Sleeping princess email, but I received the latest one with the queens diary entry.
