its hanging up on the login screen for me right now so i think its just the site.

Also right now there are two things we need to keep in mind
1) the DuaneInsane comment about Dan Bronson and a BumbleBee costume
2) Banks claw - yes it is an anagram for Black Swan but What does it mean? where can it lead?

For Black Swan check out
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_swan_theory

BumbleBee still has me totally perplexed. And he also said that he will be visiting the places Dan has been...

EDiT: some are linking it to the Transformer BumbleBee... but I don't like it, meh.

Also there is a meta connection between TPTB at LOST and the writers of the new Transfromers movie (the only thing that gives me pause about calling it totally false).

whoa did I just quote myself Laughing

All of Duanes previous posts were at around 8:15 AM, is it signifigant that his last is at 11? Someone on another thread broke down what time zone he should've been in based on a mention of time in an early post, does that mean he really has moved? Can anyone figure out where he might be now?

yes you did. I'm trying to follow leads for November 2nd - because if Halloween is october 1st then that means dan bronson made himself known to the worl on november 2nd. the only thing i have issues working out is the whole 2 years thing. If Duaneisinsane worked with bronson for 2 years then why the comment saying he knew about him to days before he made himself known to the world. however he has worked alongside of bronson for two years and met him at the halloween party. so for me, I feel that the date we are looking for is november 2nd 2005. two years ago would make it 2006 and to meet him at a party would be 2005 because otherwise there is no way he could work with him for 2 years (if they met in 2006 i mean). so that date must hold some sort of importance - perhaps a black swan occured that day

Yeah, I'd love to sign up. Maybe its a patience test.
Get into the site...then sit through the test only to get bogged up on an avatar. Then get into the site again, sit through the test, only to get some "number isn't well formed" error....and round and round we go. Yeah, GREAT production value. Rolling Eyes

When DuaneIsInsane wrote, "I knew about Dan Bronson two days before he made himself visible to the world because of a Halloween party I had met him at.", I think he's talking about the fact that he posted about Bronson on the spoilertv forums two day before the event at Comic Con. As I understand it, he meet Bronson two years ago at a Halloween party.
My first thought about the BumbleBee costume went to the ARG ilovbees, but that was in 2004. So, that doesn't seem right.
If Bronson/RuckusGuy is a hardcore Lost fan, was there anything about bees in the series two years ago?
In the meantime, I've had no luck trying to find Bronson's blog (assuming there is or will be one) using the little clues that Duane is dropping.

I just happen to be watching the series over again this summer and there was a epi where Charlie stepped on a bee hive and Locke was trying to find something to put over the hive to get him off of it without him getting stung. it was in the house of the rising sun

On DuaneIsInsane meeting/working with Dan Bronon
misconceptions

DuaneIsInsane wrote:
I've worked alongside Dan Bronson for 2 years.

He says that he worked with DB for two years, not two years ago. He, also says that he met DB at a Halloween party. I think that the two days before thing as, drizjr said, is in reference to Comic-Con, not the Halloween party. So he met DB at the latest on October 31, 2005 (having met him at the party and then later working with him for two years). This however does not mean that he did meet him in 2005, the party could have been much earlier, and at some point later worked with him for two years.

EDiT:Also the wording of the working comment could imply that he still works alongside DB (I have worked alongside, instead of I worked alongside), though it could indicate a prior working relationship as well.

I am also having problems with the registration part. Already passed the test, but its been hanging after I click "next" after filling in my info at the end.

What a bummer.. I'm at work so I don't want to keep taking the test over and over until it decides to work.

EDIT: err.. maybe it did work? I run through the registration again and now it says, "username schummbo already taken". So i try to log in with my credentials, but it just hangs on the login.

This site is awfully flakey it seems.

EDIT TO EDIT: I'm getting database connection errors now. I think there's just too many people on the site.

EDIT TO EDIT TO EDIT: Boosh! I'm in the site now!

Same exact thing happened to me. what did you do? just log in using the user name you wanted? wishing some people would get off the site long enough for me to register. At last i know we are all very excited.

ugh i give up

I think Duane is saying he has known Dan for 2 years but didn't find out about what he was going to be doing at Comic-con until 2 days before the event and that's when he posted it.

Even though it hung for me at the end of the registration, I let it go for a long long time to see if it would eventually work. Then I tried again and it said that my username was already taken. Well, I can sign up for just about any site with 'schummbo' as my username and its never taken so I just assumed that it must have actually registered me even though it didn't say so.

So I just went back to the login screen and tried my credentials. It hung there too. After about 5 tries though, it eventually let me in.

Is anyone else still having trouble loading the site? It is still not working for me, all I get is a blue screen (with some feathered white in the middle). Occasional I will get the 'server too busy' screen that has been posted. I tried clearing my cache, and have tried in both firefox and safari. Any ideas? Thanks.

That's if it is scripted. It could also be poor grammar.

EDIT:

On the topic of the site loading...it is working fine for me at the moment...I have a 6 year old Mac laptop with shite for memory, on a wireless/cable connection, with only Safari for a browser. HOWEVER, when I first pulled it up I got that weird error screen, too....I hit reload....it went through fine. It isn't that fastest loader in the world, but it was very smooth.

For the person who wanted to know about the email source codes....on my email there was a link to click if the images hadn't loaded, and it takes you to a web page version of your email. Once on that site, I clicked on VIEW SOURCE to read the meta tags. Hope this helps.

On the avitar....they have very specific requirements for your avitar, and you should read their HOW TO just to be sure....the smaller size file the better.
