As mentioned above, I get really bad vibes from Paul. I spoke with him once on FB but I think he got the feeling I didn't like him much and then he disappeared. He claimed he had tech difs but I don't know.

*ETA* One of my best friends is going to Galveston tonight for a few days. Anything we want her to check out? Maybe she can kill the priest lol!

Ok, at least we know one of the four contest winners is O.K., for now at least. I just got an email reply from Sofia. Here it is.

The Email wrote:
Hi there!
Thanx, I'm OK. I wasn't recently online but now I have time. Jo and Hernando are often so busy, don't worry, it's normal. Sometime, if I write Jo an email, I got the answer one week later Smile And Hernando alsways forgets to reply me, so all his emails are just apologizings Smile

Btw, do you know Second Life? I found this cool program and I cannot stop to be there Smile
You can always find me ther, I'm Sonechka Svoboda Smile

Greetings!
Sonya

Hmm. She seems not to know about the threat to Joanna.

Paul Ferdinand

I don't know if it is bad form to answer your own question or not, but I ran across this back on page 19. It is the answer to the morse code, sound clip puzzle we got from LISA.

Thank you, I think you are right, it's an A (the break between the two files is just within a long sound).

it is not .. - (I T), it is .- (A)

So the message is:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
FERDINAND WILL LEAD YOU INTO THE LIGHT. HE ALONE CAN CHOOSE WHO CAN BE A FAVOURED ONE.

Could this be the Paul Ferdinand pancito and Bartock were talking about?

Doesn't this strike anybody else as a big unanswered question?

I think it would be unwise to overlook the fact that Sofia mentioned Second Life. I'm gonna open an account tonight and try to contact her in-game. It's quite possible that she'll give us a piece of the puzzle through Second Life.

I dunno... how come Paul Ferdinand is supposed to be so special when have the least amount of interaction with him? Who are the favoured ones? Why are there interstate highways in Hawaii?

You know, that kinda stuff...

Aren't the *special* people always hard to communicate with? Because he can get you into favored one status. The Favored ones are Nyarlathotep's spawn, of course. (Didn't I do this before? me Trout me).

wiki wrote:
Nyarlathotep differs from the other beings in a number of ways. Most of them are exiled to stars, like Yog-Sothoth and Hastur, or sleeping and dreaming like Cthulhu; Nyarlathotep, however, is active and frequently walks the Earth in the guise of a human being, usually a tall, slim, joyous man. He has "a thousand" other forms, most of these reputed to be quite horrific and sanity-blasting. Most of the Outer Gods have their own cults serving them; Nyarlathotep seems to serve these cults and take care of their affairs in their absence. Most of them use strange alien languages, while Nyarlathotep uses human languages and can be mistaken for a human being. Finally, most of them are all powerful yet purposeless, yet Nyarlathotep seems to be deliberately deceptive and manipulative, and even uses propaganda to achieve his goals. In this regard, he is probably the most human-like among them.

Last, we have Interstate Hwys in Hawaii because our Senators have been in Washington forever and federal transportation $$$ are yummy. Besides, the H-2 connects directly to San Diego. What's your problem?

I got another good e-mail from Sofia today, about the blacked-out pictures on her Facebook. Here it is.

Email with Sofia wrote:
Oh, I hope it's just a fake. I mean, I haven't got any alarming email by Jo. I suppose, she is just playing wild as sometimes, you know Smile
But what is about Kuromori-sensei? Why she wrote he missing or something? I've to write her an email to put her hands away from my favourite prof, hihi Smile

My Facebook? I can clearly see all the pictures there! I send you one more - I like the impressions of people faces, as I made photographs of random Japanese on the streets. This is my most favourite picture - look at their eyes, they are really cute Smile

greets,
I'll second life today! yey!
Sonya

She attatched a pic with it. Lemme get it for y'all.

EDIT: Also, I'll do the second life thing. I've got an account and added her to my FL on there. I'll get back to y'all on that later Very Happy

Just so you all know..a few of us were chatting with Sofia and the same thing happened as before with Joanna (not exactly, but similar)

I'll get a copy of my chat with her up asap and see if I can get other copies from some others as well...

She left each of us a cryptic word...

Mine was ösldkfnäalsf, but two others were "avög" and "akl"

Hello billfett and welcome! Very Happy

I can't much about the twitter site as I haven't really used it enough to talk about it, but finding out about new games is pretty easy. Just keep an eye on the News and Rumors section. There is a lot of talk about games in the planning and design stage, and games that are just kicking off.

Don't hesitate to contribute. Everybody here is good people.
