I'm with Mavado. This one is tricky.

I am on the HOMOPHONES puzzle. I got the avatars. I got to all the wrong pages. I got the closer... clue. That is were my imagination slams into a wall.
You didn't just call Nighthawk a homophone did you?
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Try a number with your answer. e.g. 8balls (instead of eightballs)

It looks like pancito has been busy. Newest+Oldest was changed, (to old + new) and the curling page was our four pics, and said "most". It meant the one with the most posts before. I was DONE..... make it stop!
I havent tried this yet, but I would find a type of cipher that goes with the name of a curling captain.
Curling teams don't have curling captains, they have
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
skips
I think that's right, but can't get it to work. Maybe the next page hasn't been changed yet? Pancito?
Correct. It works now.

I am officially done (again), right? I think this should put me ahead of Alisdair, as he did not do this puzzle......and next answer I help with, I will just say: CLOSE!

Ima Guest and don't even know what you guys are talking about, but I did notice that there are a couple of +/- manipulation boxes on that page, that you can't trust the results of 'show all' though it accurately displays the possibilities, and last that the 'B' key is right next to the 'N' key. Yes, it's fixed.

Huh? What does that mean, you typed it wrong? That must have been the little bread in disguise.

Unless I'm missing something the next page has gone...
Nope rechecked the workings and the page is there for the correct answer

Curling Captains ok...I am defeated.
Here is what I have:
The avatars.
I know about the skip method.
A searing headache.
I have tried to:
*"skip method" lostgunslinger2 and highwind767, together and seperately...nothing.
*"skip method" lostgunslinger2 and highwind767, with and without the numbers attached (2, 767)...nothing.
*various "skip method" numbers to the above mentioned combinations...nothing.
*adding agentlexcoffeebean to the begining of each of the above mentioned combinations.
I am so tired.

The crossword's got me right now. It's a beast. There are no clues to how the letters are supposed to be...
*anagrams it. Curses.*
Basically, I'm lost.

I read things Left to Right.
B(O)B
ROBER(T)
O
(W)
N(E)RD
So if ( )'s are red question marks, my answer would be OTWE
