I don't know how you would interpret the above as such. They said everything is on track. Try giving them a chance before bashing them please?

I'm not bashing (at least not knowingly). It just worries me that it says that no major milestones have been reached.

In the programming world, "milestone" is sometimes a misused word. I wouldn't read that much in to it.

Depends on who you're talking to, as well ... I tutored for an Intro to Programming class in college, and for some of those folks getting "Hello, World!" to work was a damn milestone. Mad

Really? I'm 13 years old, and my mom taught me how to do Hello, World in all of 20 minutes.

Their original launch date was Monday, so no delays sounds, to me, that everything is going smoothly. Sounds like great news to me.

I think that it's good news as well. There haven't been too many PM's that keep you in the loop as well as this group has been. The email communication has been great. I hate not knowing why a game didn't launch on time, or when the server will come back online, or why the javascript keeps kicking out my userid/pass credentials, etc.

I will patiently await Monday. Besides, there's still so much to catch up to this week. I still have a lot of posts to read.

Guess since I know how to do "Hello World" in twelve languages (yes, I counted), I can't really relate. Razz

To all new agents

We are happy to announce that the projected launch date of next
Monday has become official. We will send out a new update once the
site is live and full registrations are ready. Unfortunately,
registration to the mailing list will not automatically register you
for the site, and you will have to enter your email address again
along with other details.

We are currently in the final bug testing phase, which will continue
over the weekend. We hope you can remain patient over the weekend for
our grand launch on Monday!

- Agent Black

What about XML, which is just a superset of HTML?

Edit: Not that I really consider formatting data to be 'programming', but just curious

I'm a complete neophyte...

... so forgive me for asking a really stupid question. What is the relationship between http://thealphaagency.com/ and http://alphaagency.org/. I notice that the site http://thealphaagency.com/ has had a slight change recently. Although I don't remember the exact wording, the 'Enter' link used to be phrased differently, and was a functioning link.
