[TRAILHEAD?] sixteenfifteenfive

Howdy - this just in from ARGN:

Quote:
We received a tip from someone named qui on July 12th that read: stay alert in vancouver; sixteenfifteenfiveSPLATgmail.com; the first peice [sic] is coming soon; look to the streets. We only repost this email address, incidentally, because it was in the body of the email itself, so it must be important somehow. Beyond this, however, we know nothing, and have scoured the Unfiction forums and the Google for more information on sixteenfifteenfive. Did anyone in the city of Canucks see or hear anything about this? We sent an email, and are waiting for a response.

I've also sent an email and await a response.

Being a Vancouverite, I hope something neat happens here. I'll keep an eye out while I'm out and about.

This email has a similar tone to the first pre-ARGFest email from the "13 Lights" group.

Again, thousands of miles away from Miami...

We still have 20 minutes to ask questions to 13, I'll throw one in there and see if we get a response

Pretty sure it's something else:

Q: Is Vancouver, BC in scope?
A: I would not know just yet.

Q: Does sixteen fifteen five mean anything to you?
A: No. Does it mean something to you?

This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification.

Delivery to the following recipients failed.

poeSPLATgmail.com

So it doesn't look like that's the way to go.

Unless gmail is case sensitive and we should try POESPLATgmail.com

Don't think it's worth trying; GMail only allows account names of six letters or more, if I remember correctly. That's why my email address can't be redctSPLATgmail.com, I had to pad it with an extra letter: redctPSPLATgmail.com

Hell, if they contacted Gmail about it in advance, you never know.

(If this is unrelated to 13 lights, I'm in)

I don't think this ARG, or any ARG for that matter, has enough weight to pull that off with Google.

It's not really weight, so much as emailing them, asking for permission for a three letter email for the purpose of an online game. I doubt Google would actually care.

Dunno. Maybe...

I do think it's allowed using hosted GMail (aka. Google Apps for your Domain).

If you reverse the alphabet 16 15 5 = KLV

E-mailed KLVSPLATgmail.com and got the following message
