when you go to http://www.yellowcurtain.com/feeds/posts/default you can see a name come up Andrea Doyon a quick google and there is an Andrea Doyon working for a web company in montreal called Hue http://www.hueagence.com/ if you look at the ppl working there in the contact us section one of them is a person who left comments for the march blog on the yellowcurtain.com jnlacoste--Jean nicholas lacoste.
Does that make sense???

Research on Uthark gave us the following theory:

That seems to be the encripted message to be used with the Blowfish program mentioned in the initial message. However, we are still unsure where to find the 'key'.

An e-mail to pers-778452429SPLATcraigslist.org (PM) led to the following reply:

Who is Mike?... Who is Elaenor Plante ? Is she the PM? She did just arrive in Sydney according to the question I posed in my e-mail: 'Did you arrive in Sydney safely?', and it was confirmed that there is a British Airways Flight 15 between Heathrow and Sydney. On the other hand: in the PM's second message he/she mentioned:

I havent been totally honest with you. I needed the key to get back to her and you helped me very well. But now i'm afraid you will need to be late to save her life...


Meanwhile, a facebook profile was discovered for Behind The Yellow Curtain where Episode 2 is announced and the players are wished good luck. It is however, unknow at this time, if the pictures in the album at the facebook profile should be used to solve the riddle of the key.

Early on it was already concluded that 'Behind the Yellow Curtain' already had an Episode 1 once. The following walkthrough showed that. Correct: the username of the YouTube poster and of the one who posted on these forums are identical: Anashel. Such was confirmed by the PM himself.

Further research was conducted as to the origin of Behind The Yellow Curtain.

Current position
We are still looking for the 7-digit key and not quite sure where to find it. Honestly: we have nothing.
I already e-mailed Eleanor again to see if she can point us in the right direction.

Nevertheless, hunting season for this ARG is open. I hope this post will give everyone a good idea of what has happened thus far.

It is hard. I hope Eleanor will reply to my e-mail again and give us a bit of a hint..

As a sidenote: I decided to type out the above overview so that people who click by realise we're still at the FIRST part and can use all the help we can get. (Personally: I'm lost). xD

Well then, I suggest we make a second thread with the current information for reference?

Obviously the PM wouldn't leave us in the dark, so methinks the pictures are needed.

EDIT: I said the factor thing about the hue studios. Honestly, it's probably a campaign for the website itself?

 		From what I can tell, the Uthark theory is a way to convert runes into numbers.

So... Maybe there's really short string of runes somewhere that converts into the 7 digit key. Or maybe we need to find an English keyword and convert that into runes using the table here, then convert it into numbers and use that as the key?

I tried the online blowfish decoder last night but nothing seems to be working for me - all the text just disappears.

Not sure why the satellite image of NZ is up there either, unless this crazy Northern Hemisphere person has misplaced Sydney...

Let's see if we can attract more people first to focus on the first clue. I'm all for a summary/reference thread once the first clue is solved.

There's a definite case of 'not enough initial information' and now 'too much information' that's keeping us from finding the key. I definitely like the more simple approach: to look for numbers and/or an English keyword that's staring us in the face.
Nevertheless, it's because we received so little information in the beginning and now found so much on our own that we are competely lost on what to focus on... :/

 		Based on on the facebook images this is what (somewhat) comes out of the RED FONT Runes in the picture:

S(e)EREMTMTLERML
MELAERMTLMTLARK

If we translate that to Rune numbers according to the Uthark we get:

15/18/4/18/19/16/19/16/20/18/4/19/20
19/18/20/3/18/4/19/16/20/3/4/5

Tested those as Latitude/Longitude at Google maps, but ended up somewhere on the border of Mali and Niger in Africa. Also not sure how those numbers can add up to being the KEY so I'm still rather set on returning to the initial messages, the website and avoid complex thinking.
