Yes, but I doubt Hu e is responsible for this. They're simply a logo designer. Perhaps the person who made this invited his coworkers to figure it out. Contact with the PM might help, somewhat.

Bonjour! Voici un petit update de l'épisode 2 en date du Dimanche 3 août 2008! Je vais faire l'update en anglais comme nous avons cette fois un peu plus de participant international.

The game is running now since 3 days.

- The initial clue was launch on 4 online forums and 2 newspapers.

- More than 60 unique visitors (and counting) reached the first stage.

- 4 unique visitors cracked the code and made it to the second stage. (Yay!)

They are some report of people who actually found the key but were not able to crack it. It seems there is different implementation of Blowfish out there. Keep in mind that "The girl who needed help" was on the run and probably needed to use cybercafé as her only way get in touch. If she had to use any tool to decrypt or encrypt message, it will be an online one. (Nick… Wink ) Yet, decrypting the message is not the only way to get to the second stage.

You still have lot of time so don't worry of being left out if you just tune in.

http://webnet77.com/cgi-bin/helpers/blowfish.pl

This might be the blowfish key she used. First search result for online blowfish. Methinks we should run all of the keywords through the data again.

Woot! Awesome work everyone! Very Happy

Edit 1: And now I'm staring at a website....

So, should I e-mail E.P. about the outcome? Or shall we wait for the PM?

Aha! The frame name is also important - R'lyeh. From http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/R%27lyeh
Quote:
R'lyeh[1] is a fictional city that first appeared in the story, "The Call of Cthulhu,"[2] by H. P. Lovecraft.
And the coordinates seem to match up with what's given in the Wikipedia article (halfway between NZ and South America).

Great job guys! It does look like the Facebook picture.

There's also a countdown on the Futhark site - 14 days 5 hours 8 minutes right now.

So, are we trying to summon Cthulu?

And the facebook picture was a physical map of New Zealand, not....R'lyeh.

Unless you mean google page?

There are two photos in the Facebook group, one being of NZ and the other of a big blue patch, which probably is R'lyeh Smile

Alright everyone so we cracked the code. We're at stage 2.

In her e-mail E.P. pointed out that the next clue is:
Quote:
The next one was a picture of New Zealand with the word 'sc-47734' behind it. Before everything went downward, Adam was working on artifact he just received from New Zealand, but I have no clue what SC-47734 mean. If Adam left me the clue, it must be something I should understand as a bioanthropologist…

Polycystin. Granted.
Nevertheless, since we took quite some time to crack the first clue we managed to do some background research on the Facebook album: check page 5 for more information on this. Now the question is: how does it all add up? Should we take R'lyeh into account?...

I'm leaning towards Atlantis... It can be connected to Thule... Thefore the Thule Geselshaft and everything else.. Also: Adam received an artifact, did he not? Perhaps the R'lyeh is a dot to remind us of an other forgotten continent.

Edit: Lemuria? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lemuria_%28continent%29
Seems a perfect connection to R'lyeh.

If the Blue Google map on Facebook is R'lyeh, anyone have an idea why it is called "last Key"
