[City Labyrinth] Bergen, Norway

As discussed in the borealis thread we need more labyrinth in the north. That is why I today have walked one in my hometown Bergen.

This is my mail to Eli Hunt, "explaining" the odd chain of events.

Quote:
Dear Mr. Hunt

This may seem a bit backwards, but some may also know me as a backwards kind of a guy. I submit to you my omphalabyrinth from Bergen, Norway, which I have already performed, even though I have not gotten your approval for the design, and therefore no trackstick either from Kai Town.

A friend, also trying to help out synchronizing the worlds, told me that you thought it could work to build an omphalos knot without a GPS trackstick if basic documentation of time and place were in order. Therefore I have photos and time information from every turn of the labyrinth.

First I present to you the design I followed. It is by my friend Canzonett and modified a bit my friend Dreamerblue

http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF8&hl=en&msa=0&msid=104736020824153282964.000453818be67ef900b4e&ll=60.392233,5.325065&spn=0.008926,0.026608&z=15

The route which is partly red is the path I walked (Dreamerblue's modification).

Now, I have a flickr account with the documentation of every turn I took. It is located here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/26605148@N06/ It also shows what time it was at each turn.

I'm off to Salzburg, Austria tomorrow and I don't know how often I can check my mail. But, I'll try. It is, after all, about saving the multiverse.

Yours Sincerely
Troag Lee

There it is. I sure hope it will count as one of the knots in the end. If not (no pun intended), I still got some exercise this rainy sunday.

Thanks also to Chippy and Jasper for clearing things up about the direction of the walk.

this is great. You can make a kml or kmz file from the google map if Eli needs one to communicate to the multiverse.

Phantastic! Congratulations on your Bergen omphalabyrinth. If a multiversal Hall of Fame existed, that rain surely would earn you some extra hero points. Very Happy

Good stuff! Glad to see the modification worked out. Let us know if you hear anything back from Eli Hunt! Hope you had fun despite the rain Smile.

HaHa! It was on the very end of the labyrinth that YOU designed...

Conicidence..?

Anyway. One thing I love about this community is that I can just take a photo like that, and I don't even have to translate/explain. There's always someone who knows!

Wow! Impressive, Troag Lee! You may have given us all the northern strength we need. I, along with Canzonett, love your last picture too. Very Happy
