Blue Oyster Cult are still touring? Wow, never would've guessed. that could've beena cool show. Saw Batman again on the weekend cause my brother hadn't seen it yet. I think the movie's officially over-hyped cause he walked out a little disappointed. I guess that's what happens when everyone starts calling it 'DE BEST MOFIE EVAR!' all at once. Was much better seeing it in a theatre rather than the drive-in this time. i could actually follow along with the action sequences. haha.

Step brothers is a movie with will ferrell, not a band. You must live under a rock if you've never heard of it.

I don't think dark knight is the best movie ever, but it's easily the best movie of 2008 so far (and probably overall). It's a bit hyped, but i feel it matched up to that hype. Seeing it in imax is 100% legit.

I don't have cable, don't listen to the radio, and don't subscribe to newspapers lol. Just turn on regular tv for 15 minutes within the last month or see any comedy movie and you'll see a preview for it. It was decent, just not anchorman status. Def had some funny lines.

no i mean i don't even get regular tv. no cable wire whatsoever. never bothered with it since i moved out. i get half decent reception on about 5 channels if i angle a coaxial cable at the window, so that helps out sometimes. haha. don't really miss it too much tho.

I had a shitload of cable until Charter cable found out we were getting it for free. Now i get a few stations, most of which i don't watch. When it comes to the tv, i'm more of a movie or video game kinnda guy.

ya, i pretty much have to be. so i'm just downloading movies all the time. don't really get a lot of time for video games. my girlfriend's always around and doesn't play. though i just got a pile of burned ps2 games from a buddy (who's dog pissed on, and destroyed, his playstaion) and i made her play Dead or Alive 2 against me for a while. the game pretty much fuckin sucks for a fighting game, but it was fun. so maybe i can swing her around to the games after all. haha.

Yeah, i'm pretty sure DoA games exist for 2 reasons:
1) For 12 year old boys to get their fix of softcore porn
2) For 40 year old 300 lb hentai addicts to masturbate furiously to asian jigglage.

As far as a legitimate game goes? They're pretty damn horrible.

i tried that Cloverfield soundtrack, can't stand any of the tracks besides the overture and Gorillaz' 19-2000. i can't remember if that's on the soundtrack or Rob's Party Mix, but either way, those songs are pretty awful.

That's because it's primarily hipster music. Meaning it is a requirement that it takes absolutely no skill or musical knowledge to make.

movie soundtracks in general have really gone downhill in the last 10 years. i remember when movies actually HAD the fucking songs from their soundtrack IN THE FUCKIN MOVIE! sounds ridiculous right? it really used to happen. haha.

i have a couple in my collection that are so good i view them as albums. trying to think of some of my favourites...
The Crow had a really great soundtrack, the Life Aquatic has a prety good one... ummm. nothing else is coming to mind, but there's a lot more worth listening to.
