"The Unknown Creature"!!

I was just shown this on another forum that I'm a member of by another member who happens to be an incredibly talented aspiring director and fx artist. It's an incredibly awesome looking new 18 minute kaiju short film called "THE UNKNOWN CREATURE". The creator describes it so: " Basically, the movie is about an unknown species of reptile that is accidentally transplanted to the US from the Amazon. It suffers from some kind of injury which causes it to grow uncontrollably (ala Ymir), until it just disappears. A scientist tries to track it down but fails to do so. The story was supposed to be a mix of x-files style detective work with some good ol' Creature from the Black Lagoon as well." I kind of get a "The Host x. X-Files" vibe. Finally a kaiju film that's not all about two monsters duking it out or a monster vs. the military and destroying a city. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but it's nice to see new takes on an old genre. Would LOVE to hear you guys/gals opinions on this one!! Cool

AARRGGHH!!

My God!! I'm told to go post here that it's OK, and now I'm being harrased here by the same one's that didn't like it in the other section?? Geesh!!!! I'm not breaking any rules!! I'm not spamming!! I've never been treated so freakin' rudely on any other forum that I'm a member of!! I believe they have a term for it...'hazing' or something like that?? If you didn't like my topics on the other section then why follow me here to read more of them?? Unless you're just trying to terrorize or stalk me or something?? Gosh!! I'm a giant monster fan, so I love giant monster movies like 'Cloverfield' and lots of others. I would think the same fans that like 'CF' just might be interested in other related themed films?? I'm a member on some other 'CF' forums and they seem to love kaiju films. I just don't get it?? If you don't like my threads then pass them up. There's plenty of other topics to read. I don't see the members posting threads like "The Host" and "Quarantine" being stalked?? This is the "OT" section right?? It seems that it's just a few of you guys that are making the sharp/rude remarks though. You know, on the other forums it's not allowed and you can get banned for it. There are tons of members here, and my threads are getting lots of views, but only negative comments from that same small handful of members?? Hmmn?? I guess you've got them on every forum though...the one's that try and show-out and impress the other members by making lame attacks and played-out humor. Mad

AH! CHILL! I'm just one user! I'm just saying, maybe you could gather a WHOLE BUNCH of these movies you're finding and post all the links in 1 thread so we don't have this big mass of threads!

WELL....

I guess I can see what you mean. Maybe I overreacted= Embarassed

, but I'm on other 'Cloverfield' forums and they really have been very appreciative of scoops on new kaiju films. It would be great if maybe one of the administrators or mods could start a "Giant Monster Movies" sticky thread or "Other Monsters" sticky. Then members could post news on those kinds of films all in one place. I'm new here, anyone want to ask a mod or ad?? Wink
