Sad... I was going through the sorting process and came to a page that only had the words:
Some error!
on it ;.; I guess I'll have to try again later
ETA: When I click the Answer button on the tenth question, It gives me the error... Anybody else having this problem or am I just uncatagorizable?

Perhaps you should try with a different browser?

I believe that the text for the White Hand being under the Couldwatchers text was an unintentional glitch. But I like how the PMs can claim it's a "glitch in reality" since, in-game, the Cerebrumachine "world" is controlled through our descriptions of it... Anyways.
I chose Metal and Fire. Fire could come in handy when forging, I think.
Normally I would agree, but fire is purely offensive, instead of used for forging weapons.

True, but it's always worth a try, especially since the rules of this thing are so loose and free. So far at least.

I don't think there's any "right" or "wrong" Lodge to join in regards to your affiliation. I'm an Organizer aligned with stone and acid. Who knows how this will help us in the future?
Edit: New Battle is up, with descriptions on how to use our new-found Lodge powers!

Joined the lodges of Wood and Cloud. Will get into the new battle ASAP but my RL job just launched a new prog that DOES NOT WORK! No downtine during the 9-5 for a WHILE.

I think lodges function as a fantastical type of "rock, paper, scissors" only. Well.. at this point of it.

Yep, that's what I took away from it, SV. It's an attempt to introduce some rules to the creation games we're playing. And, as I argued when the Transformers constructible miniatures game used RPS as a game mechanic, you can't argue that it's not thoroughly playtested.

Well that seems somewhat obvious =P

Yeah, it's a great way to avoid arguing and loopholes and exceptions to rules.

Is anyone else from here still playing this? Seems likes numbers have dropped, which is a pity as it's pretty inventive (at least in my limited experience).
Not sure how it should really be categorised though?

I for one would still love to be playing this game, but due to RL issues I have basically been unable to participate. HP + Athlon64 = total garbage laptop...Wifi card goes out and O lucky me....the company has extended my service contract because so many of these rigs had the same problem. Now this would be awesome except for the fact that I shipped them my rig 3 weeks ago and have no idea how much longer they will have it. I only have access to the computer at my work now...which unfortunately limits me to participating during my 30 min lunch...not alot of time to be creative. Be assured that as soon as I get my machine back I will be back in this. Just unfortunate circumstances at present.

Ink, what faction are you? cos if you're an Artist I could do with you back to give me help....or anyone else for that matter.
For those who lost interest, there's quite a few new elements like a market, our own shops, and a widget for creating new items, which isn't as easy as you would think.
The battles are still the main things though, and there's been a couple of really good ones where we've had to work together to solve a situation. Only problem is, as I'm the only Artist left there's no way for my faction to win (can't get enough points)...
Anyone?

I'm still playing, but i find two things annoying:
1) The time in between updates.
I know things aren't going to be instant, but 2 days going by with no posts at all is a little lame. Especially when you play like I am, where I'm more suggesting actions and allowing the PMs to determine their outcomes. Of course, that brings me to
2) Being ignored.
Yeah, I get that there can be a lot going on in one battle, but when I want to do something, I expect to at least get some acknowledgment that it worked or didn't. This past battle I tried to take it a different way, and the PM didn't like it, and just kinda left me hanging. The character that he spawned to chase me down as I tried to escape the magic-blocking field (if you don't play I hope that makes as much sense as it can) just stopped responding, and anything I did after that was just ignored. If you don't want me to do something, at least say that it doesn't work, or throw a monkey wrench in to divert me. Don't just stop allowing me to participate.
Come to think of it, there was another time earlier in that battle where I wanted to examine the room I was in closer, got no response (though the PM posted about other happenings), so I just left and went on to where the others were. I assume that means nothing interesting was left where I was, but at least tell me that when I ask.
Other than that, I enjoy it, and am still obsessively checking for new posts (though I don't much see the point in wrap parties other than to keep us distracted from the fact that it takes them over a week to give battle results).
I think I'm in a ranting sort of mood today...
