There's Gmail, assuming they left the .com part out. But so far it's looking pretty fruitless to me. That would be a really long email address unless something in there is supposed to denote spacing and there's a message included. The spacing and number of symblos makes me think this is just gibberish but at the same time - they know how we are, why would they just put some gibberish string of text for us to find? I'm confused. lol

I know. I feel the same way. And even more so since this is a fairly professional ARG. I'd understand if it was a grassroots kinda mistake, but you'd think they'd cover this in a pro job...

Also, the fact that we never explored the "l33t txt" kind of bugs me....

Let me try and take a stab at some grammatical english:
Note: I'm making some assumptions here, feel free to correct me if you think there's a different translation...

Similar commands. {It give?} Find version hack. They are within the DA. {Are to? two?} Number (the?) content button. They're in bad text scouts. Ransom titles are up. Similar hacks are elsewhere. Elsion hack is here, and everywhere.

I bolded the bits I found interesting. I assumed "Rsom" was "Ransom". Apparently, there might be some more of these types of "hacks"...Could this me the alien resistance group? The name slips my mind... Also, what's this "Elsion" hack all about? Just brainstorming...

True, but there still needs to be a common number/letter/or symbol to represent a space. Which there isn't. The closest would be J.

So, like I said, I think it would have to be more complicating then 1=a 2=b.

What about an email address? There'd be no need for spaces. That is, assuming the "@" isn't part of the code...My only problem is I can't think of any 5 digit email website...

it could be...

@gmail
@yahoo
@multi

etc etc...it would give you some letters for numbers, but where to go from there?

If it is even significant at all...

*sigh*...not get a warm fuzzy feeling about it being code...It just seems like such an obvious first step, yet all together unsolvable...I suppose I'm just trying to turn this into something more than it is.

What if it were backwards? It could be a 5-character name@some email website. And the (j) could be slashes and dots. Written backwards, there are three letters after the last (j) which could represent com, org or net.

And what if the symbols in the line of text are meant to be the corresponding number? # = 3, $ = 4, % = 5, etc. I'm just grasping here, but if you make the symbols into numbers you get some interesting sequences.

Hmmm....that does sound interesting....if we make J=., 3=#, 4=$ and 5= %, ect. we get:

akd.#$((m764#$2lk.dulkd.s876%sdr#@@#)8755543249823

Mind you, I also did the inverse: %=5 ect.

It's the last string of numbers that interests me. It's too long to be a phone number, as far as I can see...any ideas?

EDIT: Spelling

Written completely backwards you get

32894SPLAT345557803223rds5678s.dklud.kl243467m9943.dka

That's how I started seeing things that could be an email address. But I stink at decoding so it's starting not to look like anything to me. Sad

what about alpha-numeric?

(In Post Edit: Gah, I went through it, only to realize that there's a 0 XD )

So:
0=A
1=B
ect.

DCIJFSPLATDEFFFHIADCCDrdsFGHIs.dklud.klCEDEGHmJJED.dka

hmm...nothing really jumps at me, except I feel like we need to work on the letters...(I.E. ".dka"=".com")

none really. I couldn't find anything about the company (Tanukashi) and the only other odd thing was that the page was numbered 13.

I found it interesting that the page is titled "Tanukashi, Your World Leader".

In the body it reads, "For nearly a decade, Tanukashi has been sited on the Global Business Consortium's list "Top 10 leading conglomerates that are paving the way to a better world."

I googled Global Business Consortium. The last site on google page one mentions a Global Business Consortium. The website is for Phemmadeb Inc. The website doesn't work, but the "cached" link sorta does.

In there it says:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Phemmadeb, Inc. Is an organization with intellectual people that focus on Africa's growth and development. It's special interest is on how African's in sojourn lands can build and develop their continent.

We also focus on encouraging foreign investors to invest in Africa.

And it lists their several companies I have not checked out yet. Unfortunately, the "about us" and the "contact us" links at the bottom don't do anything. Whoever Phemmadeb Inc is, they seem to be into things that fit the story.

Another thing that stands out to me about the pdf file is this quote:

"At Tanukashi, we don't think profit is a bad word. Instead, we've proven that the best way to generate profit is by raising the quality of life for employees and customers alike. Profits should be at the expense of
others."

World Leader? Profit should be at the expense of others? Tanukashi is starting to sound egomaniacal.

Wow...good find. But are you *positive* it's in game? I googled, and found references to it. Also, check out the WhoIs:

http://www.who.is/whois-com/ip-address/phemmadeb.com/

I clicked the IP and got the full address Shocked . Either the company is unrelated, or the PM should get a proxy.
