golden rectangle
Md/fringe

Cool
It looks like the Iowa shape may be a "golden rectangle". If you do the math, you can get the square smaller and smaller. Math is not my thing but here is the link for someone to try it.
http://www.mlahanas.de/Greeks/GoldenSection.htm
I recall that this figure was seen in the background of the 10 second fringe ads. It would be interesting to see where the final square ends up.

Spiral marks the spot

Ha- yeah, that's the better question than what spot does X mark. I guess the way to figure that out would be to print out the map and then draw in the squares. I'll be able to do that later today at the office (when no one is looking...).

A couple promising town names in the vicinity: Roswell. Portland. Marble Rock.

One has to wonder what JJ's connection to Iowa is? It pops up many times in LOST also.

The geographic center of those Iowa towns has been mapped and it puts it in the middle of nowhere.

Also, I don't know if it helps any but the geographic centre of the coordinates given is 42.7615488, -93.4605132 Here's a map.

there's a tutorial on you tube in the section under Math TV called" Sequence 5 Golden Rectangle" I watched it this morning...decided I needed more coffee before I got it...I would say do it on paper first. Math was not my strong subject...I didn't post the link..might be copyrighted.

Cool
It appears find the pattern has changed...the golden rectangle appears on the horn with a formula inside the box...was this there before? I'm pretty sure no.

Yeah it's always been there, you just have to hover over it. All the glyphs on site reveal a 'pattern' upon hover.

Imagine the Impossibilities has been updated with a new video. A shaky camera is recording a television, on which a farmer is discussing the 'sheep circle' event.

And this new link does end in 28621, as previously guessed. FWIW.

CASE_0091:EVIDENCE_0004 (0420P 110808)

The new video is of the red-hatted farmer we saw in evidence 2 describing what I assume is the picture of the sheep circle also seen in evidence 2. Transcript follows
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Off Camera Voice: Ok, you gotta talk louder.

Interviewer: Tell me about this picture with your sheep.

Farmer: Well I'm not sure really. Sheep were going about their business. Then I heard a sorta earth quake rumble come [from] underground.

Interviewer: And then what did you see?

Farmer: I'm not sure, really. Sheep didn't notice that sound. So, I looked out the kitchen window. Saw them walking around in a circle, a perfect circle. Like something was controlling them. I never seen anything like that.

*Tape Loops*

The transcript may not be 100% accurate, so I anyone thinks they hear something different please let me know where you think it differs.

Also, in the video you can see at least one other person in the 'editing room'. I think it's a male and you can see his silhouette move from right to left about midway through the video. If you look to the right of the shot, right after the guy walks across, I think there maybe someone with long hair in the room, as well. You can't see a silhouette of this person just what looks their hair coming into frame. They seem to be standing next to the right hand wall. Not so sure about that though so, again, let me know if you see anything different.
