Yay! Something happened!
Well, I just talked to Fenrir. In summary, stuff has been crazy over there, the elves don't want Fenrir on the field fighting. In case we didn't notice, the symbol on that word document is the resistance symbol and supposedly it's their orders or something. Finally, there's reinforcements coming in, get your homonculi ready and feel free to create more.

 		Need help in K3
Hello, all! I'm Lora. Apologies for posting under a guest account, I'm not actually signed in to these forums. Another player and I have our Homunculi over in K3. We're trying to kill Laika, but we need backup. DX We're getting her from the north, so if you guys could approach from the south and various other relevant directions, then we can probably take her down. She has a sniper rifle. My three homunculi are a mage (fire, lightning, light healing), a shortswordsman, and a gunman (if that helps). I'm not sure what class the other girl with us is.

So, first order of business: To all the lurkers and players who, for some reason or another, never decided to grab some homonculi, here was the grand finale sent from HowlWarSystem:

Oh, shit. 60, watch out!"

H-107 is taking enemy fire

H-60: "Huh? Where did he..."

[Dimona]: "A dragon? Damn, doc's really been working overtime, huh?'

H-107: "*Grunt*"

[Dimona]: "Alright! 107, mind giving us a lift over to that mean old lady with the gun over there?"

H-107: "..."

[Silica]: "Fenrir!"

Communications with Fenrir re-established.

[Fenrir]: "Si... Silica...?"

[Silica]: "Oh, no... look at all this blood..."

[Fenrir]: "Holy... shit. That's.... That's all mine? I thnk I'm going to be dead in a bit, Silica..."

[Silica]: "No you're not... I'm here. Stay still..."

[Dimona]: "Silica!"

[Silica]: "Dimona?"

[Dimona]: "Silica, we can't get in close! Every time we try to fly this dragon over, he starts shooting for it's underbelly!"

[Fenrir]: "Then you're damn lucky I can walk again."

[Dimona]: "Fenrir?! You're okay! Thank god!"

[Fenrir]: "Of course I am. Silica's here. Now, do me a favor, and bring that dragon over here.

Silica, I'm going to need your help, too. I need you to cast the best shielding spell you can to keep the dragon safe. I'm going to show Laika here what it's like to have a fireball the size of a tree dropped on her head."

[Silica]: "Right."

[Dimona]: "Someone here asked for a ride?"

[Fenrir]: "That'd be us, yeah. Silica, ladies first!"

[Silica]: "Hmmhm! Fenrir..."

[Fenrir]: "Alright... approaching target... Silica, shields up... NOW."

[Silica]: "Shields are up."

[Fenrir]: "Beautiful. Hehheh. Look at her now, all paniced. I should have brought my camera...

Oh, come on lady. Don't order your men to retreat. I'm not done having fun with them, yet!"

H-107: "*Grunt*"

[Fenrir]: "Still doing good there, 107?"

H-107: "*Grunt*"

[Fenrir]: "I'll take that as a yes. Anyways, looks like this is my stop, I'll see you on the ground, girls!"

[Dimona]: "Seeya in a bit, Fenrir!"

[Silica]: "You think he'll be okay?"

[Fenrir]: "Ksssshhh... Kunoichi girl, this is Flameseeking Wolf. Bogey is fried to a delicate, medium-rare crisp, over. Ksssssh..."

[Dimona]: "That answer your question?"

[Silica]: "Hmmhm! Yes it does. Fenrir! Want 107 here to give us a ride home before HOWL shuts down?"

[Fenrir]: "Sure. I think I can go for some Rock Band right now."

[Dimona]: "I think we all can. I call guitar."


Second order of business: The apparent "deadness" of the game starting sometime in July...

Sorry about that ^_^; I have to share the computer with two little brothers here at home, so my computer time is limited. I THOUGHT it was still more than enough to run the game, but... Mom decided to drag me to one of my aforementioned little brother's swimming class every day, right when it was my turn on the computer. ("It WAS my first flight, and I'm still getting used to my programming!") Regardless, I decided having a sucky game and seeing it through to the end was better than cancelling it, so... Hopefully, I entertained you enough during the second half of things Wink

So, ummm... School's starting for me tomorrow, so I'm not fully sure I'll have time for a full-on post-game chat. But, any lingering questions, feel free to post them here or PM me (I'm LordIllidan here at unfiction, if you haven't figured it out yet Wink). And, again, since this was my first try at a public ARG, any critique would also be uber-appreciated Very Happy

Third order of business: A little treat I had in store for you guys... I noticed a few of my players seemed to like drawing pics of what they thought Dimona looks like Wink To the two or three people that did that... I SERIOUSLY, SERIOUSLY appreciated that Very Happy That really made my day Wink So, I decided to rev up Soulcalibur 3 (You know... since my drawing skills suck) and make a quick mock up of my own interpretation of Dimona. Fourth order of business: Some of you may remember finding This while poking around behind the curtain. I had locked it down soon after discovery, but I've JUST restored all it's previous content. For those of you who didn't read my post earlier this thread, this was a wiki for a little mini-ARG I ran with my friends to see if I was ready for the big leagues or not, and also served as a prequel to THIS ARG. It's admittedly a lot better than this one, so go give it a look abouts Wink

Fifth order of business: Some personal friends of mine joined up late in the game, and didn't get to talk to all the characters. As such, you may see the characters online every now and then. The game IS over, but if you do see them online, feel free to poke in and chat a bit (in our out of character Wink)

Again, I hope you all enjoyed... at least part of the game. It was a real blast for me, and one hell of a ride. Stay tuned, me and a rather large group of friends have a little something in the works for next summer...

But it looks like the dragon did a good job. =)

Guess you're lucky you caught me right at the end of summer vacation and I was a nervous wreck trying to rush through the story while I was still allowed to use the computer for recreational purposes XD

No, in all seriousness, though... I was really hoping someone would make a wyvern or a dragon sometime before the game ended, if not for the sole fact that it would have been an awesome nigh-unstoppable kill machine, thus making things more interesting on your half, and making my decisions of "Hmm... Should this enemy kill everyone, or just die?" a lot easier XD

Excuse me for exploiting your ambiguous unit request to fulfill that desire Wink
